The way she acted was unacceptable there is no doubt about that, but if your gonna posted comments you don't have to use such harsh words that might offend others. By doing so it only leaves people to wonder what kind of person you are.

Shes not a nigger or a thug. Shes an athlete and athletes get frustrated and loose their temper all the time. Yeah she didn't have to say or do what she did but it happens. This one incident doesn't make her a bad person or a "thug". Had it been the other person who flip out you would not call her a thug so shut the fuck up.

actually this one incident does make her abominable... threatening to shove something up someone's ass is something a classy person would not say. ... not to mention her smashing her racquet on the court during the first set... not to mention tantrums she has thrown before.

I agree that what she did was far from classy, but i don't think shes a horrible person because of this and her previous tantrums. Maybe a poor sport who needs to learn how to controller herself, but not a thug. There have been many athletes that have acted like complete morons for unnecessary reason, but its the one who repeat their actions that have the real problems.

i guess it was cool when McEnroe did it huh. His tantrums would last 15 to 20 minutes and he did it almost every match. He would insult the judge and his family. I cant even count how many rackets he broke on the court, but he gets a job in the broadcast booth because he was "cool" huh. No matter what you say. She still has multiple grand slam titles, and her fine is just pocket change. I think it shows that she is a competitor.

Too bad the foot fault was called, but Serena would have lost anyway. Foot faults are rarely called, that's why no cameras on the baseline, but now we know for sure what's inside Ms. Williams-only some of us knew before. Seems she thinks her Superstar status allows her to say or do anything and get away with it, especially to a lowly lines person. She can learn from this if she can penetrate her other huge thing; the ego.
Carrero said she should be disqualified from doubles.

Tennis is ashamed of this incident. I have seen players curse in the past. But this was not a cursing, it was a threat. THREATENING IS DIFFERENT FROM CURSING. The lines-woman should sue Serena for threatening her like that.
