  • Man, call Thunder for yourself or stop wasting my time. Call and ask for Travis or Dave. It is not like I am an unusual case, they have done nearly 100 of these over the years, as they work with Kawasaki NA (not UK, sorry).

    Thunder Mfg 24825 N. 16th Ave. Suite 130 Phoenix, AZ 85085 (623) 869-7154

  • 100ft pounds of torque, 97 hp, i dont think so.. i got a meanstreak 1600 injection, force winder, vance and hines, power commander, 85ft-lb......71 hp your big bore kit wouldnt produce26 more hp, not a chance so you get the thumbs down my friend

  • @drysuitbear: I don't care what you have nor do I give a s*** about your thumbs down...grow up. Simply send me your email address or a website to host and I will SHOW you the dyno graph. Beyond that, send your bike to Thunder or STFU.

  • @johndherrick well john, your bike would need to be at least 2000cc to put out that power, anyone can print something down on a piece of paper!!!! so your full of s*** so grow up and stop lying to yourself

  • @drysuitbear ARE YOU MAD BECAUSE YOUR BIKE IS FUCKING SLOWER???

  • Have a new dyno video with the Thunder Mfg Big Bore Kit (now 1700cc) and will post a link here once uploaded.

  • After 100Ft-Lbs & 97HP!

  • After 100Ft-Lbs & 97HP! Just search my other videos for update...it wont let me post a link... :(

  • Something wrong there guys, have 2008 and had it checked, mine delivers 76 horse power stock!

  • That seems awfully high, the guys at Thunder Mfg have dyno'd near 100 Meanstreaks (both 1500 and 1600s) and the 1600s are always around 63HP stock.

Regardless, with a Cobra Fi2000R + Road Burners exhaust, I was at 60.24HP/83.63FT-LBS...

NOW, with the same exhaust + custom baffles by Thunder Mfg in PHX, and a well tuned Cobra Power Commander and the Thunder Mfg Big Bore Kit, I am at 97.05HP/100.41FT-LBS! Thanks Thunder Mfg!!

  • @drpsr58 Just curious, what name brand of Dyno?

  • I thought so too, but now it is having the Thunder Mfg big bore kit installed (95ci->100ci). But before they start the install, they recently dynoed it and it was 60hp and 80ft/lbs. Their kit will deliver approx 100/100...can't wait! Their kit includes the installation of the power commander, so I can just sell the fi2000 on ebay, not sure it is adjusted correctly, but the dyno shop shown said it is fine even though a bit rich...? ximpalex: it is an all in one LED from clear alternatives.

  • There is something wrong, that bike should have more torque and more HP with the setup. Also there is a bit of flame shooting out back at one point, running rich?

  • nice bike,i have the exact same one,i put the fi2000r chip in mine and the battery fried,it was correctly installed,i took it to the dealership where i bought it and the first thing he asked was did i install the fi2000 chip in it . i lied so i didn't void warrenty but he did say they've had alot of problems with those processors and that would cause a battery to fry, i went with power commander and had no problems, cost a little more but worth it, easier to program too, hope yours works right.

  • how did you set your fi2000 ?

  • I know, it was weird...

  • seems real low re HP.

  • well? how much hp?

  • what kind of turning signals are those...what brand?
