Well, i havent actually read the book yet. But what i watched in the movie was really good.i suppose though the books are better than the movies. i really really liked the movie though. and i'm hoping they will bring out the rest of the series on movies. :)

They can't make a sequel , because in the movie , they didn't followed the storyline , and if they want to make another movie , they would have to change more the story to make it logic , and i don't think it would be a good movie at the eyes of all the inheritance series fans
@followerDISNEY rumour is that they're either remaking it or doing Eldest :) Personally I'd rather have them remake Eragon without leaving anything out; even if they have to do it in two parts, agree?

Stefen Fangmeier was doing top job when he was a special effects director with ILM, but he completely messed up his maiden movie as a director...too bad :/

I was looking forward to seeing how Ed Speleers would carry forward as Eragon, that and I thought Saphira was spectacular in the movie.

The movie was terrible compaired to the books. HOWEVER I believe with a better director and script with more detail and attention to the original storyline, it could be a very good movie. I would love to see Eldest acted out.

@Alex111119 Arya had black hair in the book and pale white face, so that's why i don't like it, Eragon actually was too noble..In the book, Eragon is being "silly" very often.
When you see an adaptation the maximum you can expect from a film to capture the spirit of the book and give the characters a face and a body and of course the scenery can make up for the missing things, that is, naturally if the film is good. Opinions always vary and what is good for one may not be for another there can be no agreement there. We are all different. I loved the film Eragon and many other adaptations even when I knew the books.
I love this song and I love the movie too. To do justice to a book is simply impossible so whoever expects anything of the sort is surely to disappointed. Why, I have seen plenty of adaptations e.g. Gone with the wind or Troy and many other I could mention here that ever came up to the book. to be continued

It's funny, but a lot of people who read the book first didn't like the film, but I did, I fell head over heels for Saphira, (not in that way), She was just so perfect as a dragon. And Rachel Weiss was most definitely the right chice for the vocalisation of her.
@jboweruk saphira is awesome. i'll agree with that. and rachel weiss is really good at her voice, and whoever did the animation did a really really good job, but, personally, i think they could've made her a little more blue. you know wat i mean?? in most of the movie, she looks almost gray. =P but yeah, other than that...=D

the books r awesome. the movie is really cool too, but not a good representation of the book. i still want them to make eldest, even though it couldn't possibly be anything like the book cuz they left out so many important things in eragon. but seriously...this, hero by nickleback, and keep holding on by avril lavigne r really great for the story in general.
@secretelf7 i did hear somwhere that the last book is going to be called 'empire' im not entirely certain now.. however paloini did say that the book will be named after something Eragon will inherit so i guess it makes sense
@followerDISNEY its a cycle. christopher paolini was going to make it a trilogy, but halfway or so through brisingr, he decided the book would be too long and made it a cycle instead. =D

i found the actors and actresses excellent. however, the script, the direction, everything was a mess. the storyline was extremely poor.
i wish someone would just scrap this movie and make a new inheritance cycle movie. make it two movies per book i suggest.

The book was so much better i was disappointed when the movie came out.
But they did a good job with the dragons! Though i didn't imagine the actors and voices like that..Especially not Arya!

@Alex111119 Arya had black hair in the book and pale white face, so that's why i don't like it, Eragon actually was too noble..In the book, Eragon is being "silly" very often.

When you see an adaptation the maximum you can expect from a film to capture the spirit of the book and give the characters a face and a body and of course the scenery can make up for the missing things, that is, naturally if the film is good. Opinions always vary and what is good for one may not be for another there can be no agreement there. We are all different. I loved the film Eragon and many other adaptations even when I knew the books.

I love this song and I love the movie too. To do justice to a book is simply impossible so whoever expects anything of the sort is surely to disappointed. Why, I have seen plenty of adaptations e.g. Gone with the wind or Troy and many other I could mention here that ever came up to the book. to be continued

wow, i didnt know jem sung the eragon soundtrack, i found her through "24", Ultraviolet's trailer. amazing, i read eragon series, movie sucked badly. i never even heard this song in the movie. great tho

Good song, but the movie was not good compared to the book they should have had Peter Jackson or Michael Bay, someone really good make it. But Saphira was done pretty well...

It's funny, but a lot of people who read the book first didn't like the film, but I did, I fell head over heels for Saphira, (not in that way), She was just so perfect as a dragon. And Rachel Weiss was most definitely the right chice for the vocalisation of her.

@jboweruk saphira is awesome. i'll agree with that. and rachel weiss is really good at her voice, and whoever did the animation did a really really good job, but, personally, i think they could've made her a little more blue. you know wat i mean?? in most of the movie, she looks almost gray. =P but yeah, other than that...=D

this is a really great song for eragon.
the books r awesome. the movie is really cool too, but not a good representation of the book. i still want them to make eldest, even though it couldn't possibly be anything like the book cuz they left out so many important things in eragon. but seriously...this, hero by nickleback, and keep holding on by avril lavigne r really great for the story in general.

@secretelf7 i did hear somwhere that the last book is going to be called 'empire' im not entirely certain now.. however paloini did say that the book will be named after something Eragon will inherit so i guess it makes sense

@followerDISNEY its a cycle. christopher paolini was going to make it a trilogy, but halfway or so through brisingr, he decided the book would be too long and made it a cycle instead. =D

@followerDISNEY ok, here's how the cycle goes: ERAGON (#1) ELDEST (#2) BRISINGR (#3) BOOK 4 (#4). there aren't any more. but book 4 isn't out yet. =( so we have to wait another year or so before we can read about how galbatorix goes down. X(
