  • I'm 14 and this song makes Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and all those other pop stars look like SHIT.

I was born in the wrong generation, but who cares? THIS MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE!

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRicher44 Man, you forgot to write first time you got screwed right in the ass! Remember?

  • I say we give the kids a break. Even if they listen to Gaga, Spears or any other "modern" band - noboby can deny the link of modern bands to the groundbreaking superbands of the early 80's. The styles are astonishingly similiar and even the modern acts will admit their success was influenced by these retro bands. Its apparent in all the covers that are being put out nowadays.

  • @stupidpplmakemegag Please, the new breed like Ga Ga don't make QUALITY music like this. She wishes!

  • I wonder if the band members' mums went to the Rod Stewart sperm donor clinic.

  • you do have to admit that todays music media has some pretty good artist but this here platinum blonde prism nazareth ozzy osbourne shit all the good old bands destroy todays shit this is actually dance worthy and i love to dance and it sucks that music like this died it actually depressing

  • These guys are Awesome. I used to listen to them all the time back in the day.

  • omg omg im 13 respect me, i like the music that you like!! Im so young and i can appreciate music doesnt that make me exceptional!!

  • omg my mom was juming up and down cuz of the concert and im 13 and she got me listing to this like woow i love them now!

  • It's good that some of the young generation are listening to this music but they don't need to be so proud about it. It's good that you are listening to it but there are way too many comments just shut up and listen to the damn music and enjoy it.

  • who could dislike this ... i mean really

  • agree with bllpg9 but i'm 37 now and it's the 155434 times that i listen this song and i always will until i die

  • man this band rocks. Nobody makes good songs like this anymore. Bands today like akon rihanna kesha lady gaga are no good

  • I saw them live in 1985 in Seattle...my first real concert. They put on as good a show as the big names (Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue etc) that I saw. I was 15 and LOVED this album, absolutely wore the cassette out. =)

  • Fuck, I didn't know Joan Rivers sang this!

  • apparently there's two guys that were on the road and didn't like it

  • whatever happened to them? i LOVED platinum blonde back in the day!

  • I just found this band out, I'm so glad I did! I'd much rather listen to this than Justin beaver, 12 years of existence and I love music that's beyond my time :)

  • @meliishere2009 Buddy you are right...these guys are AMAZING!!!!

  • dam bro i love this song im like 120 years old im tight huh

  • Sergios Jackson USA guitar is on Ebay,

  • DAMN....I still love this song...and Its 20 years later. This band was not given the credit and exsposure it deserved. Such a shame.

  • Platinum . . . Pwnzzz - Rip Ken !!!

  • This was their best hit.

  • This was what I used to call my homework music, where i'd do my homework with the radio on and great music like this would play. Sadly todays music would be more a distraction than a relaxation.

  • i'm 16

  • Maudit que j'ai donc écouté ca moi!

  • awesome :)))) xoxoxoxo

  • thank you thank you thank you great song...music

  • i love platinum blonde...

  • great production in the 80s; they really knew how to polish turds in that decade!

  • Actually i am surprised the amount of yng people who love the 80's. Our parents probably thought our music was crazy to!

  • Why couldnt there be good music produced these days? The 80s fucking rocked

  • Well old music is just as good as the stuff now. Why judge. like it or not its music. and these songs r good. real good to keep on to the stuff from longbefore

  • I grew up on the same street With Sergio Gali, and FYI i was close to him andIf you know who I am Private message me

  • lady gaga can gaga on my jizz stupid b****

  • these guys must had alot of chicks

  • Going tonight @ The Mod Club to see them!!

  • I just watched some of the posts it looks like there back

  • long live the 80;s yeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaa

  • This group ruled a good part of the 80's.

I read some pretty wild stuff from their hayday. Im 38 and my 2 girls love when I put on the "old stuff"....lol.

  • i remember it was

    corey hart /bryan adams solo

    platinum blonde/honeymoon suite the bands

    then came glass tiger

  • Wow I love being Canadian because of tunes like this, I wish I was born when they first came out.

  • I partied with these guys... great people... especially their road manager Peter Kife

  • When does there tour start

  • I have no idea when the tour starts.... I was talking about 20 years ago when I partied with them.

  • The "Guitar Dude" is Sergio Galli. I remeber these guys playing the Palace in Halifax back in the late 80's. Someone threw a Beer Bottle onstage and clocked Mark Holmes.

  • lol His hair didn't protect his head?

  • These guys would have been a lot bigger if they would have been a few years earlier. They caught the tail end of the genre.

  • Boy Mark Holmes, the singer, is hot but he ain't no dancer.

  • I agree whith all you guys! Nothing will beat 80's. I am so sad that we cannot get back time! I think I'm gonna cry over you! lmao

  • What happened to these guys? I remember them being so popular then....they disappeared.

  • I believe that they are touring again!

  • Bass player expired a few months ago. Singer is a DJ. Guitar dude is a designer in Toronto.........

  • HE is architect designs homes, and invests in builders that guitar dude

  • They were actually rehersing for a tour but Kenny Mclean died so we will wait and see ahat happens

  • i love the 80s music its got that special sound that never goes away or anybody today can not top i think i would rather live in the 80s than today i even wear clothes that they did back in the 80s ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • Oh man, I miss the 80s.

  • They sound a lot like Duran Duran...not a bad thing. Classic 80's sound.

  • 80's had a lot of excellent music, true. But there is a lot of great bands today. However, they are usually local small town bands that never have a chance to make it big. I think that the 80's just gave all the small town boys a chance to make it to the top, which is impossible today with our pop trash corporations.

It's an even longer way to the top now if ya wanna rock and roll.

  • I disagree. I think the music of today is so different sounding. 80's had a special sound and it will never be topped

  • You are 100% right, the 80s was & is the best music ever.

  • Are they going to tour this summer or fall?

  • HAVE YOU HEARD A RUMOUR??

  • i reckon this was the best song platinum blonde made.. 5/5

  • Love the helicopter move at 1:40 !

  • Me too

  • WOW, I miss to 80's.

  • Another great hit from P.B.

    80's music cannot be beat.

    No originality anymore....

I sure took that decade for granted.

  • Got that right. Listen to your Lady Gaga and Blackeyed peas kiddies! lol

  • When Platinum blonde was #1 those kids where spermatozoïds! lmao

  • They were nut stains in their mama's drawers. lol

  • kiddies? im 13 and i listen this stuff, way better than Lady Gaga and bep

  • I'm talking about the majority here. The majority or kids nowadays wouldn't know good music if it smacked them between the eyes.

  • true dat.

  • @nesjuggalo When you were their age people your age now were probably saying that about you

  • @GBallaJ They probably did, but I always listened to good music.

  • @nesjuggalo agreed!

  • @nesjuggalo very true. i'm part of the minority however.

  • excuse me? you have to be an idiot, yeah mainstream music sucks but theres alot of kids out there who appreciate good music, myself for instance, its different taste, so go stick your comment up your own ass. Idiot!

  • @nesjuggalo

    You're right about that!

  • @nesjuggalo you don't know the half of it, brosef.

try actually being a middle schooler in a time like this, where everyone else listens to kiss, kube, and star radio stations.. it sucks. BALLS.

  • @nesjuggalo you got THAT right

  • lady gaga is weird, nice tits thou LOL

yup groups of 80's/70's still big tickets

canadian bands got screwed in the 80's

  • oh ya, no candian band got anywhere in the 80s, no matter how good they were, like Rush or Honeymoon Suite or April Wine

  • Honeymoom suite was stabbed in the back by there manager from 83-88 he was american who kept them down.....stole most of there profits

RUSH 35 years, longer than any US band ever

  • i know, and think about how under rated they were

  • @bllpg9 I was a kid when this stuff was out & I still love it more than ever now!

  • @AmandaRules4ever my mom tells me that everyday!

  • @bllpg9 cool.. im 14 dude and im in a 80s retro type band you should check us out one day

  • @bllpg9 get a guitar, start a band. just do it. it's influences from the past that create rad music for the future. Do it man, it's not hard, you don't need to know how to play, just keep at it and it will sort itself out. go man go!

  • @bllpg9 Who's Bep?

  • @heartsboxcars Black Eyed Peas

  • i hear ya

  • don`t you go messin with my padded shoulders

  • to bad bands dont sound like this anymore honestly its full of potential talent and a beautifull sound now music is non talented and very bad no feeling

  • Perfect time for a Reunite tour for KENNY

  • The 80's With Mark Holmes

  • Its hard to have a reunite when kenny Maclean

the bassist died in november try keepin up with the 80's

  • I want a reunite TOUR

  • Who does not.

  • Awesome! I didn't even know Situation Critical was theirs. It could be that I've only heard their singles. It's funny, now that I'm older, I find their lyrics kind of sounds like he had bad relationships or issues with women though. That's right, I don't care if this gets 25 thumbs down, I said it!!

  • your a real dummy Mark definately doesnt have problems with women I think maybe you do and being jealous wont get you anywhere

  • Ack, I'm sorry, I meant for my last comment to be a response to goneshootin22.

  • I loved Platinum Blonde growing up!!! I was saddened to hear that Kenny had died.

  • i was shocked and if i see mark holmes at my workplace, i will send him our wishes to kenny's family!

  • R.I.P Kenny MacLean.

  • Kenny Maclean was the bassist...RIP KENNY...

  • So depressing to hear Kenny Maclean, their bass player died... Canada had such great music in the 80's, fantastic singers like Corey Hart and Gowan, and the awesome bands like Platinum Blonde and Loverboy. What have we got now? Avril Lavigne, Nelly Furtado, and Simple Plan hardly compare with the stuff we used to have...

  • ...don't forget Bryan Adams! :-)

  • but in the 90's we had good rock bands like the Tragically Hip, Tea Party, 13 Engines, Our Lady Peace, way too many more to name, but i know what u mean bout music today

  • RIP Kenny.

  • Which one died the lead singer

  • i love platinum blonde, i grew up with them! :D

  • i can't believe this. did this really happen?

  • It was a great time. Platinum Blonde, Spoons, and other great bands like Duran Duran...too bad we can't go back.

  • I totally agree...The days of 4o clock rock and Good rockin' tonite, were some of the best days i've ever lived.

  • I grew up with these songs in the 80's. It's so funny to hear younger people saying they'd wished they were there. Hey, it was as fun as it sounds but isn't today's pop culture fun for you too.?

  • not realli i mean i liked the 80's more even tho im only 22 after watching that movie Degrassi School's Out

  • hell no. Todays pop culture is ridiculouse. The music sucks, the clothes look ridiculouse, and no one seems to come up with original ideas anymore. The 60's 70's and 80's would have been way cooler to live in. Im 16 and I rant about young people more then some adults. Anyways, great song. Gotta love Platinum Blonde

  • As time goes on, it gets harder and harder to come up with original music. You have to give today's artists some credit. I'm glad a young person such as yourself can appreciate the "oldies". Try and enjoy the music of your generation because when you're older, it will remind you of when you were young and free and happy.

  • just my thoughts, but I wouldn't worry about listening to modern music. Listen to whatever sounds good to you. There is definitely something missing from today's music though.

  • Haha, I am a little younger than you but I feel exactly the same way. I think the 80's had much better style that was all about expressing yourself instead of 'fitting into the mold' which seems to be the hip thing to do these days. I tell my friends that it's hip to be square all the time, when they ask me why I like all this retro stuff.

  • i still remember every word and every video! wow takes me so far back!

  • Sergio rules!

  • I was a teenager.

  • Gotta love the 80s

  • my favorite Platinum Blonde song! takes me back to my childhood in Toronto.

  • rite on

    love this song

  • Thank you for posting this.... This is so great....

  • love the 80s

  • The Limo Driver was also in the, "Crying Over You" Music Video.

  • Randall. I think he was also the body guard. Shitty job keeping all the woman away back then.

  • That's hot

  • love this song even tho i am only 21 years old and i was not a teen in the 80's era of this kind of music

  • Ya I'm a former teen of the 80's. These guys were quite popular in Canada back in the day. We cover "Doesn't Really Matter" in my band "Cinch" in Edmonton. I don't have a cover version on our page as of yet but you can check us out if you like. You're also the same age as our new drummer...lol..thesoundradio. com/artist/cinchband.

  • can i ask u wat is was like to be a teen in the 80

    was it bad?

  • it was great to be a teen in the 80s,girls were hot a sexy as hell, we cruise around you were sure to find a girl for the night, the next night we do it all over again except we find a different gir, action all the time

  • everytime i watch degrassi junior high episodes or watch re runs of news brodcasts from the 80's im always wondering wat it must have been like then

  • One word.......AWESOME.

  • if u dont midn me asking were u a young person at that time

  • It was amazing. Great Rock N Roll, lots of good times!

  • crap looks like if i was born in that era i would have had a lot of fun
