Great vintage video. I drove over that same "super" highway and the Tap the other day and it is a mess now. Strange to think that here in America that almost 60 years ago we had better bridges and roads than we do now. Guess we spent too much money building stuff in other countries. I say fix OUR roads and bridges FIRST. Thanks for sharing this.
This is a very important bridge, but it's in desperate need of repair or all-out replacement. Since it carries two US Interstate highways, it should be government funded.
this bridge was constructed poorly which is why it is so badly deteriorating

I lived in Rockland for over 20 years and I always wondered how the bridge was built. It is going to be replaced soon.
