Holla! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (search on google)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my brother in law got really defined Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of fat with it.
@AnatomicalALIGNMENT my paleo diet is 80 percent living food in the form of living plant material including living fruit.. living is the key to healthy living. i only wanted to loose 75 pounds but now my goal is to loose 95 pounds. why , did i change my goals? because i see that my new goal is obtainable
@AnatomicalALIGNMENT Fruitarianism is a joke. I may not have seen a shit load of fruitarians, but the ones I have seen (who like to throw all the complex pro-carb science at people) look like hell. I have not yet heard of any ex-fruitarian paleo eaters who say they felt better on their old diet; they all seem to say the complete opposite. What good is all that science when those who practise what they preach cannot even use themselves as an example?
@AnatomicalALIGNMENT I think every raw vegan and paleo eater has heard of good ol' Harvey. He's a good laugh and fun to watch, but a lunatic that thinks too much of himself and gives a very, very biased view on everything.
@AnatomicalALIGNMENT I have no idea how long he's been doing his current diet for, plus he is pretty old so I can't exactly pick at how knocked up he looks and blame it on what he eats. How old is he?
@AnatomicalALIGNMENT Chris is not actually a fruitarian though, is he? Muscle doesn't mean much, and I don't deny that you can gain muscle without animal products.
2:40 - watch?v=NS_MKwQ4MD4 muscle ≠ health. People can also look perfectly healthy on the SAD.
Dr. Kim from Channel 5 Eyewitness News in the San Franciso Bay Area actually started this diet. She had an initial blood test to test insulin, trigricylide levels, and other pre diabetic metrics. She actually had this done at a group testing center for the diet. After two weeks on paleo, all her scores dropped down by at least 30 points. One diabetic lady reported went from taking over 10+ diabetic drugs to only two due to the positive effects of the diet. It works.
i can imagine most paleolithic men died of starvation. infections of wounds, blood loss, mabe even murder. but not one died of heart disease. how do i know this? i read it in a science book.those science books say if i eat high whole grain diet i will slowly get obese diabetes heart diesase but slower than the normal refined grain diet. all one has to do is look up the meaning of reduces.
Some have disparaged this diet because cavemen tended to die young but the thing is, regardless of diet, cavemen lived in fairly hazardous environments along with fairly hazardous creatures who hunted them. Most didn't likely die from their diet so much as from what ate them.
@bevivian22 I'm sure It was not because of what they ate Its common sense to eat more like they did and not processed food you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out I think if they did not live very long it was probably because they where prey to animals diseases and other natural elements
of course that is one part of it but I wanted to say with my post that "cave men" doesn't have too much choise in what he/she eaten. A lot of food (we are still eating) was also poisening etc. but "we" found ways to make it better like using fire, cooking or mixing different plants etc. together. The assumption that because our ancestors eat a special food makes it healthy is to simple - at least for me.
Hm there is some validity to this diet but the initial "Feel good" is being caused by elevated cortisol which is leading to elevated adrenaline. Excess muscle meat is not a good thing.(adrenal fatigue anybody?) These "diets" end up being a band-aids. Just Eat Real Food and keep the omega 6 to a minimum, Its not that hard. Paleo Diet(the word diet should be a complete turn off) + Starchy veggies and less Muscle meat(organ Meats are the most nutritious part and the bones are even better) = Solid.
I've been eating caveman style for a few months now and have never felt better. I'm a 50 year old drug free powerlifter and am getting stronger again and getting leaner at the same time which I thought was impossible. Minna and the other girls on this video are very beautiful and a little distracting so I had to watch a few times to hear it all. LOL
Good luck on sticking to your Paleo challenge. It has made a difference for me. My triglycerides have been high for 20+ years. I started 2/1/2011. My tri's went from 523 to 123 in 60 days. I have the paperwork from the VA to show it. I have lost 31 lbs since 2/1 as well, and MAINTAINING that weight.
