i think these airbags would go better on small container/cruise ships because it could prevent damages to the ship and dock or in tight harbors, so u can deploy before impact and save money on repairs (only in a real emergency ) . but the bag probably has to be thicker and stronger... and at least it wont push something off to the side and flip it...
You know, maybe instead of spending money on airbags to be installed on the front of tains, maybe we should use said money to educate the idiots who attempt to beat trains.

I have yet to see a locomotive LEAP off the tracks and go roaring through the suburbs, killing hundred of people - as it runs red lights.... Only to get back on the tracks and flee the scene of the crime.

I have yet to see a locomotive LEAP off the tracks and go roaring through the suburbs, killing hundred of people - as it runs red lights.... Only to get back on the tracks and flee the scene of the crime.
Fuck people that cue across railroads, Fuck people that are too fucking stupid to even bother slowing RIGHT DOWN and LOOKING left or right for any on coming trains... BEFORE crossing the tracks...
