I am from Romania. I'm glad they said no to communism and had this revolution! It makes me proud of being Romanian. Sadly, I don't speak Romanian or have been there. I mean, I was born there but when I was a baby I got adopted and moved to the United States. My mom said when she went there to adopt me, most of the people were still poor (I was adopted in the 90s). I don't know who my biological parents are or if I have any family left there...But I wonder if they did anything during this Rev.
@x4v13r3comesback they defiantly cut the "communist" emblem from the traditional romanian flag--restoring it to the Beautiful Romanian Flag that it once was-
And also making a statement, cutting out the dreaded "alien" emblem of communism-

dar inca suntem condusi de acei falsi comunisti, eu sunt comunist si pot sa zic ca in romania nu erea comunism , era duar fascism acoperit de un comunism facut de catre niste fascisti ,si niste capitalisti care doar vroiau sa se imbogateasca din poporul romanesc , acesti comunist care au uitat ca comunismul este libertate si egalitate , traiasca marx si lenin , pentru un adevarat comunism,sper ca intro buna zi in se va putea implini

Because there was placed the communist coat of arms. The revolutionaries fought with that flag symbolizing a free Romania.
