  • wow. thank you good job.

  • i'm sure it tastes great, but it's gross to watch

  • Poor Turkey! : [

  • This is okay, but the one by "Cooking for Dads" is seems much easier to understand... Basting? Not gonna lie, that kinda scares me!

  • If basting scares you, you've got issues. It just means to periodically take the juice that drips off, and pour it back over the top again. You can do it with a spoon. Basting is the easiest part of cooking a turkey.

  • @Anhelain amateur hour. Basting does absolutely nothing for the turkey. If anything the repeated opening and closing of the oven to bast the turkey only prolongs the cooking process, as does the stuffing by creating unnecessary mass. His dark meat will be cooked to perfection of course. But by this time the white meat (which is the best) will be a desert.

  • try cooking upside down ...you will thank me

  • No way! Not if you plan to present the finished bird and carve it at the table. Cooking breast down leaves unsightly rack marks on the turkey's... rack!

  • ok try it when your not concerned about looks and more on taste

  • @Jessiqua42 If you cook it like this, flip it breast side up during the last hour of cooking...it will fix that problem and allow it to brown nicely.

  • I heard that this is the best way to cook it, becasue it makes the white meat much more moist. Thank You

  • This helps so much. Thanks!

  • thanxx for the help lol

    happy thankxgiving

  • Thx for the help.

  • Happy Thanksgiving!

  • happy thx giving
