I saw it when I was six with my ten year old brother and twelve year old sister. The next night when Adam (my brother) had to go to the bathroom, he took his entire comforter to the bathroom with him. I came out and saw him walking back to his room with a comforter a pillow and a very terrified face. I was afraid to sleep without the light on for two months. Fun. Times.

In this that whole butterfly thing has a bigger point. I've listened to the commentaries by the director's and the one in Dominion just kinda threw it in there without any thought. The guy just shot himself randomly in that instead of this disturbing scene. Reny Harlin (the director in this and also the director of Nightmare on Elm St 5) also used alot of background color, mainly red, to give that sort of look that the evil is gathering there and powerful. No I'm just comparing them. I like both

I know! This, the original, and Legion really freaked me out. I found the other two more as comedies, but that's just me. Alot of people hate this movie for all the disturbing images and blood. But c'mon! That's like sayiing the original was clean! harlin just wanted to show that when you get shot or stabbed your going to bleed!

I know! And it wasn't overdone like some slasher film or 300, it was fine enough. The original movie used alot too. People are just waaaay too sensitive these days. Too much blood is a problem for some groups but sexual references are fine. Any small sex scenes or any sexual gestures or anything are bad for others while blood is fiune. And the movie wa sgoing to be even higher rated, but they censored it so it could be an R rated film.
