I don't believe she's faking, however I do believe if she keeps singing this way before her voice is ready she's going to severely damage her vocal chords and lose her voice in her 50s or 60s.
No way is that kid lip syncing but I can see why people think she is. It's the way she forms her mouth around the words. Odd. She is a beautiful little girl who has a wonderful gift but I dont think she ought to win AGT because other than the fascination of watching a kid sing like an adult, she is simply not entertaining. There are about 4-5 acts on AGT that are 10 times more entertaining than she is and deserve the win. Besides there is something unsettling about putting a kid on tour.
she has to be lip synching i mean that is physically impossible for a ten year old girl. is she like on steriods? her voice is at least amplified pretty loud and touched up.... i dont believe it the only way i could is if she came to my door and sang a song for me.
@XxColoradoCutiexX In a world where growth hormone laced foods are causing girls to get their first periods around the age of seven, and have fourteen-year-old boys standing at six-foot-one, you're actually incredulous that her vocal cords developed early?
I can't post links, but my citing should be found as the second reference of a "lowered puberty age" google search. Source: healthnews
@XxColoradoCutiexX Now you have a chance to get her to your door and sing for you. Just buy her CD "O Holy Night" and in pre-order in Amazon and she will sing through your stereo. Since she worth billion now, that is the cheapest version going to your door step.
@UltimusLionheart Yes people ... and watch her sing "River of Dreams". Camera work is awful, but Jackie is amazing once again and will only get better.
The general consensus among audio experts now is that most likely she was singing to an enhanced vocal backtrack that was mixed with her live mic. The live mic was adjusted very low and the viewers at home mostly heard the engineered vocal backtrack.
@MicroGuyChannel "Audio Experts" You know, I wish I had the time in my life to sit there and try and disprove a natural (albeit very unusual) talent such as hers.
The Carpenters made millions on the records they produced. I have read how their song were the 1st to use 24 tracks - that "smooth-as-silk" sound we hear every Christmas.
I am truely happy for her. I hope she is allowed to grow up in a normal environment and not exploited by the media.
Rubbish- Before she even sang on AGT she had already received recognition of her ability from the head of Sony Music. And this quote from Tim Janis a famous composer is on Wkipedia ""She is just truly blessed with a voice that's phenomenal", says classical-crossover composer/conductor Tim Janis who will be working with her this Fall. Why would she ruin the good thing she already has going by doing even a half fake performance on AGT?
Why did CNN make a whole report stoking the lip Syncing controversy and then at the end they show how she proved she wasn't lip syncing. Also anyone that spends 10 seconds doing a Google search can see that there are dozens of videos of her singing on her Youtube channel and practicing. And finally before she even appeared on America's Got Talent she was booked to perform in a Christmas special at Carnegie Hall on December 2, 2010. They don't allow people that can't sing to sing at Carnegie
@eyeCvideos It just goes to show you two eternal truths - people are jealous of those who can do some things (way) better than them, and that news networks are out there to make ratings more than just tell it as it is.

Yes, because America's Got Talent would fake this the whole season for no apparent reason.

@MicroGuyChannel You can buy a front row seat while Jackie is on tour in the city near you and update us if what you said is true.
