I think instead the government should just block website such as pirate bay. Sure people would find ways around it, but it would still significantly reduce piracy without the risk of people being falsely accused.

I am opposed to this New Zealand law. I am American and I feel sorry for the New Zealanders. New Zealand is supposed to be a democracy, not an autocracy. That bogus law is copyright gone mad. I have had enough of bogus laws. That law does more harm than good. That can possibly put ISPs out of business.
