  • Thanks for this. The organ sounds very well indeed.

  • ça tient du génie...!

  • That is really fantastic and if only I could build one myself. Have restored Pump Organs and am a professional Organist/composer. How long did it take to build?

  • @Musique3579

    Thank you.

It have taken for 7 months to build.

  • @onodakoji Do you have a set of plans for building an instrument like this? I would LOVE to do this.

  • @Musique3579

No plans but making method in Japanese.

  • How did you make the bellows and what is the action comprised of?

I like the quinty sound. It's quite haunting :D.

  • The player moves a pair of foot pedals to play the organ.

Please see the slide show of this organ.

The reservoir bellows is pressed by the metal weights. The bellows are made of wood and leather.

  • @onodakoji

Allow me to be more specific, What comprises the manual action? Do pins depress pallets directly under the pipes or windways to the pipes? Are there sliders, horizontal or vertical, which are raised by keys? Or is there a more conventional design?.. And about all three bellows in general, how thick are the boards of wood used? I want to build a very very small instrument with flue pipes, reed pipes, and free reed pipes

  • @falaqdad15

Yes, this is the type of direct action.

No, this organ has no slider, only 4ft gedackt pipes.

The bellows are used 3mm boards for each sides and 15 mm (reservoir) ,5 mm (feeder) fot the top and botom.

  • Very nice!
