  • Drums equals rythm/melody...

  • As the matter of fact to me, it suits perfectly, I've never really heard any drummer playing like Ted right from the 80s. This kind of drumming is not metal playing at all. It's not that aggressive. Some comments didn't even noticed that. In fact, why would a musician limit himself to some type of playing like metal, or classical, or rock or what not?

  • @Stefferson92 Ah metal degenerates possibles,by hate...Idiots

  • (Contd.) There should be varieties in a good music. It's the ability to clump them all together and makes a really good music out of it, that's all about being a good musician just like Ted and many other guitar players like Vinnie Moore did. That's how it works. No wonder, no one has even playing drums like that so far in any classical runs except Ted himself. That is really great. Ted's awesome drummer.

  • dos minutos de lokura D:

  • its actually good, but not equalized. the drums bleed over the piano when they should serve as an enhancement for it

  • @anonymousQ45 Why? This is a drumming album. You're just used to every drummer besides Ted. They all use the drums as a noisy metronome. Ted uses them as an actual instrument, so they should be the primary focus of this album.

  • Wooooww.... amazing, what else can I say?

  • @Antheror Well I definitely agree that its a matter of opinion. I think the unique sounds of the drums fit perfectly with this song. Theres no metal in this drumming, just fast drumming that reminds you of metal

  • @Antheror

I disagree- If you narrow the songs brilliance to simply "fantastic pianoing" (is that a word), then you take away from total package that the song has. Rhythm, melody, beat (yes beat) are what make this song awesome. Yuo cant hear this drumming with piano ears, you have to hear with an "angry" ear.The song as a whole (especially with the drums)conveys an emotion (as all good songs do).Listen to this like you were driving your car and running over the golphers that ruined your garden

  • @WilliamFAlmeida

also- how can a percussion instrument like piano not work with the drums? Notices how the higher notes are accented by the cymbals- how does it not make sense?

  • Ted...you're amazing. Do you still play solos with red plastic jumbo baseball bats? I saw you do that when I was like 16. I'm 39 now! :D

  • @Antheror Feel free to post a video of yourself doing such complex and technical drumming. Until then, he'll remain one of the best in the world.

  • Really good drumming, but kind of weird, almost... with an Etude.

  • awesome :)

he still can drum as good as in 1991 :) even when i didn't see it because i wasn't born :P

    he is awesome :)

  • Utterly Brilliant! You should do Prelude 16 or 24 as well
