  • Nature!!!!! Let nature play itself out. Nice job. Vids like this help people experience true nature, not from an evil perspective, but from a reality perspective. It is what it is. Keep filming!!

  • Mother Nature.

  • Im sure this has been said and im equally sure no one cares but mute swans are one of the most disease ridden non native super invasive organisms in the US. There should be a bounty on them like there was wolves and bears ect back in the colonial days but our country is too busy wating money on non sense

  • another example of a tormented person to have been filming this when that person could have saved the life of the gosling, sick. so sick

  • WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING FILMING THIS? You literally have no heart, I have no idea how you were alive in this video.

  • WTB Golden Eagle to swoop down and rip the living shit out of that swan :D lol

  • OMG Our city needs some of these birds, I hate canadian geese they crap all over and it makes walking impossible, they also attack and have ridges on their beaks@

  • @wanttoseemysnake goose taste amazing. get a gun and shoot them and eat them if they are so abundant and that much of a problem. get like a pellet gun or something. not an actual firearm.

  • Fuck swans.

  • Awwww nature is so cute and cuddly! The swan was just playing with the baby Goose! They probably sang songs and danced around to Disney music afterwards.

  • @rltw04 lololol

  • swans are very aggressive!!! OH well its just nature.

  • WAH NAY!!!! D:

  • i would of shoot that fucking swan!

  • I love swans!!!!

  • I HATE SWANS!!!

  • lmao the ending was the funniest AND THEN THERE WERE 5

  • @MrAnthonyBaxter yeah its sad

  • Wow, amazin video, didn't know gracefull swans can be predators too!!...

  • Humans are not the only one who like a bunch of tasty nuggets.

  • O.k., I know it's nature--but I'd have put the dumb camera down and shooed the swan away--nothing was gained by the death of the little geese!

  • swan used wing attack!

  • Poor gossling. But, this is what happens in nature. This isn't some fairy tale like The Swan Princess. This is real life. Sure, watching this, I admit it: i felt bad. Even if I saw this in real life, getting involved would have been stupid.

According to my friend, this is what he has to say about the gossling: he be dead.

  • daaammmnnn if I was there I would've kicked the swan :( even though it's mean the swan shouldn't have done that Y_Y

  • @Myobokuuzan

u mean it shouldnt have ate to survive?

  • I filmed behavior like this just yesterday, but the swan didn't kill... Considering the geese only had 2 goslings I image they already lost a few to this lone male. But now the parents have a better technique to manage the 2 that are left which may survive to adulthood. It is nature, and the geese in this area still outnumber the mute swans.

  • ey this is like the little Duckling rhyme song like um....6 little duckling went up the sumthing sumthing........then 5 return back so yea LOL!!!

  • Kinda like how lions and hyenas go after each other's young.

  • AWW! IT HAS IT IN IT'S MOUTH!!!

  • szkoda mi tych gesi, tak dzielnie bronily malej...

  • swans are absolute fucking cunts. how many tens or hundreds of videos are there on here with them being total bastards to anyone around them?

if one ever tries it on with me I'll make sure to injure the fucker.

  • why didnt you save the baby goose you sick fuck <3 RIP GOOSE <3 TROLALALALALA OMNOMNOMNOMN xD X(b rip rip rip

  • and this is where me (the 6 foot human) comes in and shows my dominance, watch when i stomp the shit outta that swan

  • OH NO,BABY GOOSE DOWN. GEESE TO THE SWANS,FIRE!!!

  • OH NO,BABY GOOSE DOWN. FIRE!!!

  • is the lion king song circle of life playing in anybodys head besides mine right now?? haha

  • I bet all the ppl saying "get up and do something" or "the guy's sick for filming it" have chicken and turkey from slaughter houses. Yubetube that and quit crying, everything born can't live.

  • Good I hate Canadian Geese, my area is full of them they scared away all ducks.

  • @rugbynimbus Well actually humans caused this problem in the first place, Mute Swans aren't natural to the same areas in which Canada geese live.. Humans introduced them. And often times there isn't a threat to territory, mute swans have been known for unnecessarily harassing and bullying other waterfowl.

  • i would've gathered my geese safe locked and released my bull terrier ti rip the shit out the swan!!!

  • lol

  • I know with me, I wouldn't be able to help myself to confront the swan and grab the baby if I saw that, or do something to get the swan away. I know swans are strong, but I could find a way. If it was already dead and just kicking in reflex, then I would deal with it then, but I would try.

I know nature is brutal and a lot of animals die in torture, but I don't have to allow it in my presence. If I'm not there, then so be it that this would happen.

Thanks, though, for preventing a slaughter.

  • @desertdarlene I reluctantly agree. That's why I can't watch "March of the Penguins"; I can't just watch them freeze to death, etc.

  • i'll give you law of the jungle, swan or not fukin batter the shit out of that swan if i saw that doing that to any of our geese, fukin murder it's fucking souless heart until nothing was left but blood and bits of feathers, there wouldn't be even an identifiable portion of that swan left on earth, what a fucking shame.....

  • @SvenOkonomi, like I said it's all part of nature, Humans are the only species who kill for enjoyment, look how many wars we have waged against others of our own kind, just because we didn't like them or we wanted their possesions. But still when all is said and done it is a beautiful world, and I love that we have lovely creatures such as swans in it with us.

  • It did the right thing

  • I know it is nature but I honestly want to shoot that swan so fucking bad.

  • Don't put the camera down and try to help it or anything. More important to get the vid for youtube.

  • OMG Evil Swan!!! Killing the Gosling!!!!

  • I know nature this, and nature that, but I would have dropped the cam and tried to save the poor baby.

  • poor baby...those geese were brave trying to save him though

  • The " video maker" an heartless people. I hate his (or her) Didn't help to the goose parents, to safe the little life of baby goose.

  • One wonders what was said in the edited out audio. Great vid!

  • Did the swan actually eat the baby goose? Nasty business.

  • first-degree murder

  • I wouldn't have stood and filmed this, I would have shown that swan the sole of my boot!

Swans are so fucking arrogant, the assholes of the water.

  • go swan! but man those geese were kicking that swans ass...although the swans are bigger those geese were doin some damage lol....those geese were bad ass...go geese lol even tho i like swans..they won my respect for kicking that swans ass....RIP little crap machine.

  • Why is the stupid swan killing the little hatchling? Psycho Swan! I'd shoot the fucking swan.

  • @KhalSyr me too i would shoot that fucking swan

  • @MrEnzomoto

Douche... It's just a goddamn bird...

  • winner! winner! ducky dinner!

  • Poor little Goose :(

  • Thanks for your reply. I love swans, but still felt sorry for the little guy. Impressive how the parents put up a valiant fight, just like a human would fight to protect our kids.

  • It's the law of the jungle, bigger stronger creature dominates smaller one, swan must have had a mate and family near by. The geese put up a pretty good fight though, and I've seen geese harass ducks, so all part of nature, where was this filmed by the way?

  • You are right. There is an on-going fight for territorial dominance. This was on Lake Chemung in Howell Michigan. The geese make a mess of the yard, so I root for the swan.

  • @davenpat23

There is one problem here no one is addessing. Mute swans are not native to the US and are having a detrimental effect on native waterfowl. They are especially aggressive when breeding as shown in this video. Whether you hate geese or not, the swans do not belong here and are killing off the species that do.

  • @davenpat23 I wouldn't be rooting for no Mute Swan, if I were you. Canada Geese are a native species to North America. Mute Swans are an invasive alien species. We brought them here from overseas hundreds of years ago, only for aesthetics. They are currently causing lots of problems, including the rapid decline in Trumpeter Swan populations, as the Mutes are very aggressive when it comes to nesting. Both Canadian and American governments should allow hunters to start shooting them, IMO.

  • @davenpat23 you must be a real man to watch a full grown animal take apart a baby, and then root for the aggressor.

    pussy.

  • @cygnophile Humans are part of nature. I would have kicked that swan till it was bald.

  • I think that is my swan :S cuz my swan if he was small then she was a beauty then I have have relased him and he fly away he wanted to kill my dog :S so I have relased him on 12.May.2008 :S

  • Very sad. Why do the most beautiful creatures always seem to be some of the meanest?

  • For all of you saying that swans are evil, this is just nature taking it's course. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!

  • Not to disagree that swans are bloodthirsty monsters, but the people planning to go punch one should think again. A swan is big enough to seriously fuck a person up.

  • dreadful.... :/

  • i mean the gosling

  • damn!!! so the swan just killed the chick?? it didn't eat it?

  • yea i dont think it can eat it, its too big to swallow.. what a waste.. the parent goose cant do much..

  • Swans don't eat geese...just protecting it's domain from his natural enemy.

  • Swan are bad. Although the meat is bad. You can,t eat them.

  • this is the swan's way of saying go away

  • It's still a goose that will grow up to be a walking crap dispenser people. both birds are extremely annoying

  • in all fairness its nature dude, it happens

  • We need a swan like that one here in Belgium, canada geese are pest here.

  • lol Enjoy our geese.

  • @imhatepie

    :) haha

  • pwned :P

  • No it's not. It's doing it out of instinct, because the geese are a threat to its (and its family's) food source and territory. Nature is cruel and has to be so; we shouldn't judge it by human standards.

  • survival of the fittest right there

  • Oh for fuck's sake people, this is Nature. THIS HAPPENS.

You know, it's this same "Oh my, we have to do something" and "We can improve on Nature" human arrogance that causes most shit to go so wrong in ecosystems in the first place.

  • @rugbynimbus

Yeah but I mean. Swans are dicks. I mean it's nature, but.. Swans are still dicks.

  • crazy shit! why would a swan do that?

  • they're rivals, just like lions and leopards. they have the same niche

  • h8 swans

  • The type that you write tells me definitely that you have an inferiority complex! -- A rather big one!

And I will now not tell you what I own, what I studied or whatever. No need to compare penis sizes on yt.

  • goose is like a swan imposter

  • Thank you! One less goose to SH-- on my beach.

  • @davenpat23 I shit in your face for saying that! geese rule!

  • That comment reveals your ignorance about swans. You do not mess with a swan unless you have to. Geese can be bad enough, swans are twice as large and those wings could probably break bones.

  • White people were also just brought to the US. Do they don't belong there then? Should they be chased too?

  • I'm not going to discuss with you. I just wanted to point out the dumb argumentation.

And by the way: just idiots use capitalization of single words to highlight what they want to say.

  • And why exactly "should" he have messed with the swan. An animal that you admitted can hurt a person. I wish the swan had taken out the rest of the geese. The fewer geese the better.

  • The little goose is okay?

  • Fraid not! But I went down and kept him from killing the rest.

  • @davenpat23

    UR an asshole.

Why didnt you save the first chick?

  • @mkadams99

Let nature take its course, maybe?

  • @davenpat23 how did you chase him away then?

  • you know a hit from a swan wing hurts like a baseball bat

  • very odd.

  • swans intend to get rid of the competition for food for there own baby's wll thats what I think.

  • i said it wrong . i had a red tail that i would let go hunt swans like the one on this vid .and it always kicked the shit out of them.besides if i prove this to you cateye. would that make you an imbecille with a big mouth .or just plain imbecille?

  • get a red tail hawk to pay a visit to that swan

  • wow you are stupid a red tail hawk would not be able to do shit to that swan

  • how many red tails you have? none right .well i had many . one of them i would let him go after these swan .and he would kick the shit out of them every time .dont under estimate a red tail u fucktard cateye211..

  • ok put your stupid 2 pound red tail agaisnt a 35 pound swan and see what happens you idiot

red tails are not golen eagles they cant do shit all my cat would rip ur red tail to shreds

  • "my cat would rip ur red tail to shreds"

Red tails hunt cats (and small dogs).

  • wow you really are a stupid bitch arent you??

How would a 2 pound red tail get past a 10 pound angry cats claws while its trying to kiill it? The red tail would get itself shreded and cut up in the process

Only a golden eagle has enough power to instantly kill a cat or a dog to avoid injury

red tail wont be able to do it fast enough and will get it itself seriously hurt in the process

You idiot go do some research retard!

  • "wow you really are a stupid bitch arent you

??How would a 2 pound red tail get past a 10 pound angry cats claws"

Ask those pet owners who have lost their pets to a red tail that question. It's not unusual for a predator to be able to take down prey much larger than them. Crocs vs wildebeets, eagles vs deer, wolves vs buffalo, cheetahs vs gazelle, etc. All dangerous, but still done.

  • ROFL

you are comparing predator prey relationships

a red tail hawk is a PREDATOR BUT SO IS A CAT

    both are predators

a cat is 10 pounds a red tail is 2 pounds

both have very powerful means to fight with

It is virtually impossible for a 2 pound hawk to take on a healthy adult 10 pound angry cat, the hawk wont be able to avoid getting horribly clawed up and will be in serious trouble

  • "a red tail hawk is a PREDATOR BUT SO IS A CAT"

Not if the hawk wants to have it for dinner.

  • ok now i think you are trolling no one with as much experience as you say you have would ever make such a stupid comment like that lol

t is way way to risky for the hawk, if nature made red tails that stupid there wouldn't be any red tails they would all get killed trying to kill larger predators then themselves like coyotes, bobcats, fishers etc..

  • "ok now i think you are trolling no one with as much experience as you say you have would ever make such a stupid comment like that lol"

I got to treat an adult brown tabby that had been attacked by a hawk during my first 2 months, at a private practice. It's not common, but it most certainly does happen.I've heard the horror stories too, not everything ends up in the media. I wonder the same about geese vs cats, seems like a cat would be fast and strong enough to take down an adult goose

  • if the cat were to be attacked by a goose. But geese are quick, powerful, and decisive too...

  • "is way way to risky for the hawk"

FYI: HUNTING IS DANGEROUS! They know this! Gosh, I witnessed a juvenile Bald Eagle lose its leg attacking a large RABBIT! A rabbit of all things! Now THAT is unusual. I have photos of that on my photo album (which depicts an adult baldie in there taking over the kill). We weren't able to capture the juvie (as he could still fly, obviously).

  • how about golden eagle vs wolf.raptors are bad asses if a red tail a female with chicks sees a mother f..ing cat trying to eat the babies it will hunt it down no matter how big the damn cat is .if we are talking about house cats that is

  • "You idiot go do some research retard!"

I have 18 years of experience with aviculture; breeding, rescue/rehab. (wild, captive, and domestic), research, etc. 12 years of wildlife rescue alone (specializing in birds; more specifically waterfowl), and I'm the vet tech. in charge of all wildlife and exotics recieved at the county animal shelter. I've seen more cats/dogs in one week than you've seen in your life time, and certainly more red tails :) Oh, and I'm a bio. major, if that helps.

  • oh really? well its sad you still dont know shit

because here in ontario I have had a pair of red tails hawk nest in my yard for 10 years, I feed feral cats and no matter how starving the hawks are they wont dare touch my cats but they do go after my birds,

YOu dont know shit about red tails and what type of prey they will select, NO red tail would ever go after a full grown house cat or another PREDATOR larger then itself

  • "I feed feral cats and no matter how starving the hawks are they wont dare touch my cats"

You feed feral cats, so I guess you're able to keep real good tabs on those eh? LoL.

  • if peregrines are known to kill eagles .then a female red tail in its prime can get a hold of the swans freaking neck and not let go until it chokes.you didnt or i ,specify on whats the scenario when the rt is supposed to go after the swan

  • let them fight it out the geese can defend themselves 2 agaisnt one

  • I have seen this a hundred times on our local lake. Our local swan drowns the goslings and there is nothing the geese can do about it. I suppose it is nature- the swan feels the food source is threatened for his own signets somehow.

  • i saw a flock of those geese a attack a swan for the crust off my sandwhich

  • hey goose killer, thus is vince...best i've ever seen

  • man...that kid makes a lot of typos

  • i guess the swan goosed the goose

  • Why didnt you help the geese..you just stood there filming..??

  • It was too late for that gosling but when the swan started for another, I chased him away.

  • Oh well you tried...Thank you for saving the others.

  • It was too late for him ... for all that you know. I wonder, are you a veternarian? Because it sure looked like he was still kicking pretty hard to ME.

  • i hunt ducks and geese and even after i cripple one i then have to break its neck or crack its skull open and they continue to kick for a while.

its the nerve reflex of a body... like a chicken running around with its head cut off, its just a reflex of the nerves. this lil guy probably both suffered a crushed body and a broken neck cuz that swan was shaking his head in a way to snap its neck.

it was dead before this guy could run as fast as he could to save it, the swan is just too strong.

  • "i hunt ducks and geese and even after i cripple one i then have to break its neck or crack its skull open and they continue to kick for a while. "

Not true for geese. The bird was alive and could have been saved early on before the swan got a chance to rupture the brain (making the bird lame, but alive) through its still soft, open skull. Initially, the swan had it by the thigh and it could be clearly seen that the gosling tried to get up and run away the first time it was dropped.

  • @davenpat23 i,m glad you,ve chased him away

  • That was not nice of that swan. Someone should have shot him!
