I saw a clip of this on something the other day and remember it from an indie club I used to go to years - absolutely brilliant, fantastic, just love this type of music even though I'm old now lol! It has a TUNE!!!
They're gigs sure we're crazy - At the 100 Club in 1996 - it was chaos - the sound packed-up during their set - disgruntled fans started trashing the place & it ended with their gear getting trashed too i think!
I miss them so much!!!! I am getting so nostalgic since it was them, Ash, and Oasis that really defined my adolescent years! They were so fun and I heard their gigs were crazy!!!
My favourite story that got me into them I heard on the John Peel show that the lead singer got naked ata a pub gig just before they got big with this track, and started dancng nude on the bar so the landlord, not wanting to interupt the gig and grab him started spraying him with soda out of the hose to get him down!
the mini-album was great, but the album wasn't great. they changed direction and tried to BE the smashing pumpkins, they even left the single inbetween time Average man, one of their best off the album and abandonned it such was their direction change, i did love them.
Apparently they formed in '95 when they were all around 18 so they're around 30/31 now. Just look at the red-headed guy in that video. He looks about 12!
well 10 years ago i was going out drinking, and watching these live,,im still in my 20s,all be it late 20s and i certainly wasnt 8 when they formed,,i take it maths and common sense isnt your strong point

That's a bad way to ruin gear when there'll only be 18,500 people watching your video in the future.

Kevydee1982 1 year ago
@Kevydee1982 Attaching IEDs to them and placing them in Guitar Center. I don't know. I have bad syntax, sue me.
tweekin001 1 year ago
@tweekin001 They had their success at the time. Let em enjoy it in peace! I think this was even a top 30 hit anyway.

Remembering how good musis was back when this was out really shows you what a low ebb the music scene is suffering from at the moment.
markusfearn 2 years ago
but this is pretty unoriginal and generic of the time. if you look in the right places then you'll find great music from the last decade.
