  • Pirating videos and television: Cool with me!

Pirating current generation videos games: Pathetic, inept little nerd, get a job!

As for pictures, music etc. I think everyone understands and accepts that piracy is the norm; therefore no one pays much attention to it anymore.

  • i think youtube should ban fat guys video or in other terms videos that contain extra fat and obesity just luke nudity or pornography

  • piracy is cool

  • Finally, a cool kid..

  • I don't know how many times I got pissed because I bought an album and only liked the songs they played on the radio or bought a 60$ video game just to find out the game sucked and collected dust after purchasing. And even more frustrating when I pay to go to the cinema, just to sit in utter disappointment for 2 hours. Videogames and Movies are the only things out there that can get away with putting out CRAP without any repercussions. Its not like you can send them back to be repaired.

  • LoL this needs more views, he is talking "Real talk". I'm a pirate and proud of it. But, just like he said in this video, I also support the companies as well. Well at least the ones I feel deserve my money. I love being able to test movies/video games before I go see them in the theater. If I like the movie I go watch it at the cinema. If I don't, I don't waste my money. Same goes for video games and programs. If anything, it forces them to make their stuff better.

  • LOL

  • just get a hair cut!

  • I was at an Exodus concert a few months ago and their front man, Rob, said "Our new albums coming out next month, how many of you fuckers are going to go buy it?" *raaaah* "How many of you are going to download that shit for free?" *guy raises hand* "See that guy? Someone beat the fuck out of that guy. By our shit, so we can keep making music for you guys". Godd times

  • i found a pirate xD

  • i like your vids, but youre way of in this question.. for every artist that makes it, theres atleat 100 artist that the record company put money on that hasnt, so the record industry gotta first make up the money for all the lost artist and then make a profit on the artist that actually made it... piracy is stealing, no matter how much tou wanna sit there and say that " but britney spears got a jetplane" and justify it by saying that... etc.... homie i like you, but youre wrong here!

  • just get a hair cut......

  • I download freebie tunes plus I also buy physical cds so a bit of both really. I agree that the music is minted in other ways and that bands get shit loads of pay from touring, concerts etc. Im a dance music producer, Im bangin on the walls to get noticed I use P2P sites to get my tunes out there and it does work! Ive had some great feedback and I feel soon I will get bigger. Sharing I feel is a great way of gettimg my stuff out there cos radio stations just dont listen!

  • Hmm why do all people from Europe sound the same? With there little stupid accent god i hate it so stupid and goddammit fucken cut your long hair makes you look like a girl and not a pretty one a ugly one

  • still packin pounds

lose some weight fat shit, and cut your fucking hair while your at it

  • when blueray will get popular, people will stop downloading illegal beacause blueray game or movie files will be to big to download and they will want the high quality stuff..

i' m from Belgium so sorry for my spelling mistakes...

btw i agree with everything you said!

  • @JoeyJIL i totally agree :D

  • ok.. piracy is a bit like.. get it for free but its not that good, or for a price at high quality its just because they want money and people are making them lose it o.o

  • You are right, but is it wise to say that you do it, I mean you used your IP to upload this. What if you get featured. If anything they like to make examples of people for pirating to reduce it. To say if you pirate this is what will happen. And I think it is just about ready for a cut of numbers... So be careful is all!

  • well done. You're now a public pirate lol

  • I <3 Piracy

  • I agreed with everything you said!

  • paying for piracy is stupid

artist make money from tours/merchandise more now so i totally agree

if you pirate a cd and you like it you will be inclined to buy the cd

if you only choose to pirate its killing the industry but if you just do it only a few times its okay

some companies like you to pirate software so you can try the stuff out, the sims 3 leaked version was a beta that EA wanted you to try out!

in answer to your question its partially okay when done in moderation

  • Good video!! I personally don't pirate stuff but I do agree that some pieces of software are totally overpriced. I will probably make a video response soon.

  • Ah, that's cool.

Again, it is balance. Something like Snow Leopard or ScreenFlow, something reasonable, I would purchase.

But I just don't have the money for PS and FCP. Heh, maybe that means I shouldn't use it, but I am too dedicated to film-making etc not to.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • I always wondered how you afforded FCP lol. So did you purchase ScreenFlow? Another thing: You spend a lot of money on a Mac in the first place and then you have to sometimes pay another 700 to 1000 pounds more. Realistically nobody would spend all that money unless they were a pro.

  • I had the school disscount version of PS on a external so I half-piad and half pirated. If I wasnted now though I would have to hush hush it.

The only other thing I would say is pirated but not really is I watch shows from japan(asia/korea) and people yell piracy on that...

So i guess I pirate TV shows with that mentality.

  • ha! The biggest thing I download is shows from the USA, as some shows don't make it/take for ever to come over this side of the pond.

  • Really? I do not see how it could take so long we speak the same tounge. The whole Japan to other places I cant see why it takes years.

Yes it needs translated and re-voiced but couldnt they just put the subs on the TV also and just get it out there for the other people?

  • It's always been the way. Films, for example, nearly always come out a month or two earlier in the states.

As for TV shows, one of the longest waits I have experienced for the arrival on British TV was on a show called True Blood; as season two was starting in the US, season one just started here. Over a year! Ridiculous.

Other shows aren't quite as bad, I am just impatient ;).

I never understand the wait from country to country.
