This was a very touching video. Jehovah is such a loving god and he knows the hearts and may we always keep him in our lives <3 Like the brother said never take the truth for granted. This is a note to always keep in our mind. Thanks for sharing this sad but wonderful story :)
Its amazing how the truth can really change a person! Nekata is such a great example and eventhough he died he died a faithful brother. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the warning about crying.you were defenately right.this is such a great experience.jus makes u think how important it is to give Jehovah our all and not take our meeting or service for granted.Thank you for sharing. 3
thank you so much,I too remember reading about this brother but this video gave it life and of cause I cry ,what a great lesson for all of us in the truth, never take the meetings for granted or our service to jehovah, and don'tn for get our songs.thank you your sis minerva
Great lesson.I see God's hand behind the whole picture and the many people involved in making this possible.....from the very start to the end. Nekata repented and though he had to die to serve his penalty for all the crimes he committed on earth but he has eternal life; which matters most and furthermore he has become a testimony to many others since then. AMEN
It really made me cry the very touching video of Bro.Nekata's life, how he really appreciates the truth that he received..it encourage me not to take the truth for granted...
this is a phenomenal story! i wud lobe to share this to the people in the upcoming generation..to inspire them and to help them making the Truth their 0wn..
@dhaneization you are right! perhaps someone like me! i am 26 years old ,i was baptized 7 years ago, and in recent year I think I am getting lukewarm with my service.I know I am not serving him wholesouled, I am easily distracted and easily loose focus.Nevertheless, I always always pray that somehow Jehovah will forgive me and continue to touch my heart.Because , honestly, sometimes as much as how i felt like to cave in and go back into the world, serving Jah is the only thing that is not futile
Hi Sister. I used to have this story - before it was ever in yearbook. yes it shows the transforming power of God's Word. Thanks for reminding me about it.
@johncc70 just wanted to let you know that at the time this happened the watchtower and awake had a price, when i came into the truth in 1975 i believe they were 10 cent

I read this story a while back, and it made me cry out loud.....tears were running down my face, even my dog Smokey just stared at me as I was reading and crying.... he was pretty concerned!!
Thanks for your time to put this together, it's a lot of work...it's 25 min. long, that is A LOT OF WORK!!! Thank you so much dear sister, may Jehovah continue blessing all of your hard work!!!! Your sister, Veronica ♥
@zubycabral It's my pleasure sister Lupe. A brother sent me the story and as I was crying all along while reading the story so I thought I would make a video of the story to encourage you all. It certainly encouraged me and taught me that we must never take the truth for granted. We must esteem the truth and make it our very own because it was Jehovah who attracted us to him and we must consider it a privilege that Jehovah chose to reveal us this precious truth in the midst of so many religions
thank you sister for this very touching story it made me cry very hard now we know Jehovah forgives any one that repants from his bad past like in this brothers story thanks and take care mercedes pena miami
Very touching. I love the fact that he died asking for Jehovah to help brother Islaub and the brotherhood. In this hectic, critical time of the end, we can let the truth take a backseat. Thanks for this video and the reminder not to let that happen!

@zubycabral I believe this experience was first in a 1959 Watchtower. You can find it by entering "Nakata" in the search box.
I used the experience for several years in talks I gave. Could NEVER get through it without choking up.
