  • back to Türkiye again... Youre welcome

  • @SWBism Confusion...ACHIEVED!

  • Orphaned Land shows that harmony between different peoples can be possible. Their tour in Europe proves it .

  • @AlexMoby yes, because we are brothers of metal...fans of other music genres would kill each other :)

  • amazing !!

  • the fact that these guys even Exist is a great thing...the fact they also kick arse is the icing on the cake. Fuckin brilliant! just wish I understood a bit of arabic!

  • @SWBism Thanks to explain!

  • it even has 2-stepping parts?? fuck yes!!

  • What the hell means "Sapari"? Could anyone tell me?

  • @uchicha666

maybe google translate can say what spari means

  • @aaaa11112222bbbb33cc

Sapari is "tell me" (for woman) in the ancient Jewish Yemenite language...

  • @uchicha666 it means tell me

  • @woonitu yhank you very much. Now full lyrics translated into english, please ;)

  • @uchicha666 I once asked a jewish woman and she said it meant "my barber". since Adding and i makes it "My [word]" and sapar means barber.

Kinda went wtf at that :P

  • @nahing

hahahhaha I don't think so. I know already it's an ancient song so I doubt it's about barber ;p

Someone here told it means "Tell me" and I guess this is correct hahaha lol ;)

  • @uchicha666

    (female) "tell me

  • @uchicha666

In my opinion word 'sapari' is a synonym of 'sofer', which means man learned in Torah, scribe. Argument, which can back up my theory is the same root in word 'sapari' and 'sofer' - סופר. The difference appears when you want to read this word, because as we know in Hebrew letter known in Latin alphabet as a "P" has name 'Pei', and the letter 'F' is known as a 'Fei'. Pei and Fei haven't got cloistered letters, both are represented by the same letter 'Pei/Fei' - פ.

  • @uchicha666

Aside from this, clip of this song shows man, who is writing something in Hebrew, and we can suppose that he is studying Torah.

Of course I can be mistaken, that's my totally loose interpretation which I conceived between learning about Ancient Israel and listening to this amazing song ;)

  • @uchicha666

Sapari li - means tell me in hebrew

    Sapari tame tamima...

Its is a chapter from The Bible.

  • It's a band from Israel. It's gonna grab a few different languages to sing in. Deal with it. <3

  • Did someone notice there's is a hanging guy/lady in the central mast of Ophaned Land's logo? What'd it be

  • @wasabib

yes, indeed there is a woman hanging on the mid pole of their symbol. its actualy the vocalist, kobi, drawn as a woman, for the cover.

  • Fuck the bullshit religious banter, good tunes is good tunes.

  • Actually, the design reminds me very strongly of the Methodist church's cross, which does indeed have a flame representing the Holy Spirit. Surely you're not going to tell me you think Methodists are satanic. ;-)

  • why they put the cross as symbol....why they cannot put something else.?

  • @ahturion the cross is a symbol of many religions, way before christianity.

  • @MonthuRa , i know this thing, but c'mon ,why they need to put a burning cross, and sometimes with snakes, are they against christianity?because their symbol is a burning cross, and i consider it satanic enough. Why a cross?why not something else,i like their genre of music, but i'm christian and i don't like to see burning cross, because the cross for me is a saint symbol. And i think that doesn't matter if the cross is or not before christianity, the symbol of the cross nowadays is important not then.

  • @ahturion Not everything on fire is Satanic. lol come on, just chill and enjoy the music, no use getting butt hurt.:/.

  • @ahturion also, what fire are you takling about?

  • @MonthuRa on the left and on the right side of the cross....there are flames for me ,or maybe i'm the only guy who see flames on the cross .

  • too bad they cant make money off their music now, i heard they have to give it for free. which sucks nad makes me feel bad.

  • Awesome

  • this is fuckign awesome! it sounds like turkish music tho.

  • @MonthuRa it's Ararbic

  • @37Darkshadow No my friend, it's not Arabic; it's Hebrew. ;)

  • @DISCOnnected90 its not hebrew its yaman

  • @shlomir82 לא. זו עברית בהיגוי תימני, זה כן. תימנית זה בטח שלא - תימנית זה ניב של ערבית. השיר כאן הוא לחלוטין בעברית, עם ההיגוי התימני, שהוא הקרוב למקור - לעברית הארכאית.

  • @DISCOnnected90 My friend told me it was Arabic...

  • Comment removed

  • @37Darkshadow My native language is Hebrew. I can assure you that they sing in Hebrew (apart from one verse in English), I understand it all. I agree that the tone sounds a bit like Arabic's, but that's because it's archaic Hebrew pronunciation, which is close to nowadays' Arabic pronunciation.) ;)

  • bestes Lied wenn man im Auto sitzt;)

  • for some reason this is their only song i really like.. but im addicted to it..

  • LIKE

  • gracias...!!

  • @walymary2009 gerne wieder
