"when those fools back there destroy themselves i'm heading for Gliese 581-g!"

  • This is like my dream

  • I FEEEL SO small T-T

  • in the last split second of the song it looks like All the clusters turn into a knight looking figure

  • Try this out while stoned

  • I too miss Carl Sagan. He was such a smart man and we need more like him right now.

  • 5 people aren't ready to leave earth.

  • this video has definitely got me thinking whats beyond all of these galaxies, ya know?

  • @ShiroChan969 smoke another beer chip

  • would be awesome with sweet drums

  • wonderful track. I always turn to it when I'm writing and need inspiration.

  • @pandemic7 im doing that now!

  • @imperfecting

then you can relate, nice! I highly recommend "The Big Ship" by Brian Eno, another incredible ambient piece that puts me in that inspired creative space.

  • Truly awesome track

  • Visualization for this album was immense. Congrats to Benn Jordan who is doing exactly what he should be in life.

    Sad

  • carl sagans, how do they work?

  • That 1 person who disliked this... Must have a sad existance.

  • in order to leave earth you have to be a star get that in your head PEOPLE

  • its scary how small we really are isn't.

  • @gotpsp06 Scary...you mean AMAZING. We are small, but compared to what? A huge, Gigantic, Living Universe is out there! and that is AMAZING!

  • Benn Jordan is to music what Carl Sagan is to science and astronomy. These two men are my heroes. Thanks for the vid, IMPUL5E122.

  • @d3st88

    totaly right

  • Damn, this song is so chill. Just makes me at ease.

  • dang this is nice

  • few songs have affected me this fundamentally. when it plays it owns me. I love ambient music, but nothing will beat this.

  • amazing

  • any reccomendations if I like this? I love more ambient stuff like flashbulb and boards of canada. let me know!

  • @anthonya13 hard to say. very little ambient is as melodic as this.

  • @anthonya13

Check out Cliff Martinez - Solaris soundtrack

Diatonis - Perception album or trees in mist (song) along with Diatonis - Aurora / Secrets of the universe

    Edward Shearmur - Taxi Ride

Ulver - Shadows of the Sun

There's a few more, but these are essentials tbh!

  • lovely

  • Love this! and love the album!

Carl Sagan is also one of my great inspirations in life. I really wish he was still with us. The world became a colder place the day we lost him.

  • @Crono21

Carl Sagan never died. He was just absorbed by the cosmos.

  • @Crono21 Not really - go to nasa.gov and check out the information on CO2 levels and how the overall ambient temperature is rising. Lols.

  • thank you /mu/

  • more like thanks ben jordan

  • Carl Sagan is my biggest single source of inspiration in my life. In two weeks I start studying astrophysics at university. It is my feeble wish to follow in some small way in his intellectual footsteps.

  • TheCorrigan: Good for you! In the early '90s I asked Sagan at a lecture about whether or not he thought manned space exploration was feasible. He said "No". I then asked him to elaborate, so he went on to explain that man was too fragile to thrive in space, but we had the intellect to continue exploring via robotic space vehicles.

  • Thanks!

What kind of space exploration did you mean, and when?

  • This is the opening of the movie "Contact"...one of my favorites, along with Benn Jordan.

  • Oh my god i FOUND THE MUSIC I WAS SERACHING FOR FOR YEARS THANK YOU UPLOADER AND THANK YOU CREATOR OF THIS MASTERPIECE AMAZING DAMN

  • I think this album is on par with some of my favorite ambient albums.

Brian Eno's Ambient 1 and 2. Ulver's Lykantropen Themes and Shadows of the Sun.

This is one of the best ambient works evar. This video is a perfect fit to this song.
