I've listened to girls try to slow down and redo Skynyrd songs(ie Ashley Ray and Jewel both covering Sweet Home Alabama) and it just doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's just a true testament of the lyrics of the song or if these two are just ingenious enough to pull it off, but they do. Love the original, LOVE this version...kudos for doing what few succeed at...covering a song while truly making it your own!!!

Ok, so nothing will ever be as good as the original by Lynyrd Skynyrd... but this version scores as the best cover of the song, if only because it was made into a slow song for couples to dance to. Joey's voice is the freshest in YEARS to come out of country. Finally, a hot woman with a real country dialect! Any man's lucky to get to hear that voice around the house (doesn't hurt that she's a 10 out of 10 on looks either), and so is any child hearing sweet lullabies from it! Brunettes rule too!
