I saw them in Mississauga back in 86 - they were playing at this HUGE bar and nobody was really paying that much attention but after a few songs the place was under a spell. Really cool.
One of their all time best. By far my all time favorite band, being from Montreal I have had the pleasure of seeing them live tons. Fantastic memories.
they really know how to write music hahaha i remember my sister tearing my cassette tape outta the player and snapping it in half because i played try for the last time only to piss her off and pull out a new one outta my back pocket that was my first album i bought with my own money back when i was 15 i actually bought 2 of them
One of my favorite BR songs and one of Jim's best performances, such emotion in that voice. We are so lucky to call them a home town band, and so lucky they are still rockin it with their new double album, pure BR talent.
can somebody tell me how bob (wiseman) got that particular organ sound when he was in blue rodeo?? ....that sort of "crying" sound on the outskirts and diamond mine album mainly

Say him tonight at Massey Hall. 23 years later and his voice is still one of the best in the business.

Watch the look the pianist gets for following the lead .. LOL... Nice touch and I kinda think it was appreciated.

@BrighterThanSpock hah Good ears!! I heard that years ago when I saw this video. Bobby Wiseman if I'm not mistaken. Great great keyboard player.

Brilliant song.
Blue Rodeo is truly a great Canadian band stacked with talent. The best music is always performed when the performers are enjoying themselves.
