I can't believe how dumb these parents are. They're allowing some little bratty kid to act that way, and dumb mommy doesn't do much while her girl is hitting her. A good old-fashioned spanking will fix that.
My ‘friends’ have stopped me since I babysat their 8YO daughter last month. She was playing up (she’s badly behaved- brought up in far too liberal a manner), so I decided to discipline her.
I made her stay outside on the front drive for 30mins in just her pants & T-shirt. OK, it was chilly, but not freezing (about 4C)- & there was NO NEED for neighbours to call the Police like they did. I was given a ridiculous ‘caution’ & was told I’d been “irresponsible”. But how else are kids going to learn?
I'm 36 with 4 kids, my 17 year daughers has a huge temper, she hits me, kicks me, slaps me goes out whenever she wants tells me to fuck off has thrown a chair at me and i also have a 4 year old daughter she has the worst temer tantrums she hits kicks cries screams and she feeds of her older sister. I also have 2 boys and the 7 year old boy also sommetimes snaps back with a huge temper. I dont know what to do, does anyone have any tips/ideas
@pianoluvr100 my mom never spanked me....she yelled at me because I hated noise. That always got me to be good. Of course, I hate noise...I used to cry during fireworks, and hated screaming and all of that, so maybe I was just a weird kid. I think that as long as the punishment works well enough, and you aren't giving you kid broken bones or bruises it should be fine.

Me, I think the parents who do nothing about their kids' behavior, and let them continue to scream at the top of their lungs and act like little monsters in public are really the lazy ones. @LMA629 I think you're right...a lot of people try to say that it's illegal to spank your child now and that's why kids are bad, but it isn't illegal to spank in any of the 50 states. And, the mom spanks Skylar on camera in a later part of this episode, so obviously Skylar got spanked sometimes, yet she is still so out of control! So it obviously wasn't helping her.

And, the mom spanks Skylar on camera in a later part of this episode, so obviously Skylar got spanked sometimes, yet she is still so out of control! So it obviously wasn't helping her.

I don't have kids, i'm just a kid myself, but i'm happy that I had the foundation of true disipline in my home. To me, NOT spanking your child is abuse in some way, because if you show "mercy" we're really just handicaping our children and not letting them know the consequences for doing wrong. When i get married and have kids I want to be able to use the same kind of love that my parents did for me
