  • is the bpm counter on each cd player and it counts the bpm of the cd inside it or just syncs the effects!?

  • @Bandovic16 The bpm counter is inside the mixer and itit tries to fiure out the speed by analyzing the sound that goes in. based on this it syncs the effects and gives you these lights down there.

    Hope that helps.

  • Warum hast du nen Adapter bei den Headphones drin?

  • @Bl00tigeBrocken weil die kopfhörer 3,5mm Klinke sind und der mixer 6,3er klinke ausgang hat

  • Could you do a video on how to set this mixer up please!

    Thanks

  • i just literly just order on online very cheap seems like a very good mixxer was it worth it ?

  • Can i use this with traktor pro 2 ?

  • @arby386 only if you have an interface with at least two channels, it's not a midi controller so you won't be able to control traktor with it

  • @Frace91 how do you use it then? no program?

  • @ogge142 It is an analogue mixer. You connect any soundsource to it an control it. If you want to use it with a djing program you need to have a soundcard with two stereo outputs. If you use it like that you disable allt he mixer features inside of the program (faders, eq etc)

  • @Frace91 What do you exactly mean by cue buttons, those that are above each channels volume. I know what they do, at least on a Pioneer mixer, that is EXACTLY like this one :D

  • @LifeRunner4000 They do the same thing they do on the Pioneer original - They play that channel over your headphones

I think, when you use an external fx unit, you use these buttons to send the signal to that unit

  • @Frace91 I suppose so, the difference between this and the Pioneer has got to be the coloring of the lights, Pioneer's lights are yellow, these are blue x]

  • @arby386 like any other analogue mixer - you need to have an external audio interface like the audio 2/6/10 from ni or something like that, configure the appropriate input/output routing and switch traktor to external mixing mode - than you are done.

  • KEEP AWAY FROM THIS MIXER .IT WILL LAST ONE WEEK .SAVE UP TO GET A GOOD MIXER.YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

  • @djBMac1 what is so bad about it then , and what other mixer should i buy ?

  • @BERTEDUS It is a Behringer mixer. Almost everything Behringer makes is either a rip-off or really crappy. Like the guy in the video said, the highs are killed in that option all the time. That is not normal.

There are several options for mixers. They are just expensive for one like this that works properly. Popular companies include, but are not limited to, Allen & Heath, Pioneer, Numark, Ecler, Rane, and Denon. Any one of those you choose should be fine.

  • @Slah606 is a reloop rmx 40 blackfire any good ?

  • @BERTEDUS I have not really seen that one before but it definitely seems like a good mixer to buy. Especially since it's from Reloop. I would probably go with it.

  • Great review, I just have one question: what do you mean when you say that highs are ALWAYS killed on B channel? Is that a defect on that particular unit or a common problem?

  • edelstes Deutsch englisch

  • not exactly the best "review" sorry

  • best thing to buy for this mixer???

    new dj

  • @cizr1 for this mixer? how do you mean that?

  • @Frace91 i think cd player

  • we use one of these and ours is really good quality everything works very well except the LEDs to show how far out the beats are but other than that ours is a really good standard

  • i hear you.. same here. i really dont even need the LEDs, takes the work out of djing,..which is the best part.. love the technonlogy but i dont want EVERYTHING done for me.

  • "I prefer simple mixers like the xone 92" ja eh klar nur die sind sehr teuer und die kann sich kaum ein hobby DJ leisten :|

  • I did a powerful trance set this evening and this mixer held up 100% all the way. Its not midi, but u can connect to ur pc (i use virtual dj) and assign the software to output each deck to a seperate channel. Personally i feel the eqs are far better on this mixer than on software

  • is it just me or does this guy look like tiesto without makeup

  • can you conenct your mixer to traktor?..plz someone explain me!! i hope i wil get a response.,good video thoo...

  • @flamebuddy you can you will need a audio interface either the audio 2 or 6(for 2 turntables or cdj) or audio 10 (for 4 tts or cdj)rca cables from the mixer to the audio interface same wit the turntables or cjds, and them a usb to your computer

P.s. i will recommend Serato Scratch Live, you get more options with it like connecting ableton direct to serato, or video sl which lets you mix and scratch videos and visuals and more (i use ssl i mix, mashup & scratch videos and visuals)

    hope that help

  • @ptm012 thank you very much!

  • you do know the reason why your not getting the best performance out of your effects is because your not using your channel volume fadors. lets say if u select your filter effect onto channel two. if you increase or decrease the volume on your fador as your turning wet to dry you will notice its more effective. hope this helps.

  • Do you can play with de 4 lines at the same time?

  • @Zrebs yes

  • can this be used with a labtop?

  • @SlotBallz I dont think so. Take a look at the Behringer ddm4000, its a verry good mixer!

  • @SlotBallz if you have a soundcard (4 inputs, 4 outputs) you can set it to external mixing mode and then use it that way :)

  • @DnBMad320 thanks man :)

  • The ddm 4000 is emaculant!!! Extraordinary!! Such a good mixer I don't know what your talking about....

The djx750 you got should of been sent back if It came like this. Remember there is always a bad one...

  • @DjJumpFreak I meant worse in terms of the amount of features, I even mention in a textbox that i prefer simple mixers

  • The High does not work by your mixer but have you heart that same problem from someone else?

    Gr's

  • @94wouter not so far but I dind't look further for similar problems, this seems to be a manufacturing error

  • @Frace91 ok, thanks for your answer !;).

  • is it midi?

  • what are those musics in the background ??????

  • As long as one has the basics, the quality of a mix depends on the DJ, NOT the equipment. This mixer does not have a cheap feel to it either, and if u have proper skill, u can achieve a flawless performance

  • Du bist deutscher hört man sofort #LOL

  • Actually its a good mixer if you know how to use it but it appears that this guy doesn't ! And its very cheap too !

  • omg! thank god i dint buy this, i was actually gonna buy this but after this FCKK NO! I aint buying this. this video save me 250 dollars lol, i wanna be a dj and in 1 month ima get my equipment, but i want a mixer who i can mix techno electro Ect.. ANY SUGGESTIONS IN WHAT MIXER TO BUY??

  • @dfsa90 no the counters are not accurate. It does however allow manual tap, which would give out a pretty accurate reading, which could help

  • Are the BPM readers accurate?

  • I have one of these... it's fine for the price I paid. It's no Pioneer or A&H, but it didn't cost anywhere near as much. The things on your's that don't work, e.g. no highs on crossfader, effects not working, "XPQ surround" all work on mine, so it's a bit unfair to say they're rubbish features just cause your's is faulty. I agree with you about the faders not being linear though. Eventually I'll replace it with a Denon or maybe an Ecler... or a Pioneer DJM800 if I win the lottery. Tschüss :-)

  • The offset LEDs by the crossfader are nt too accurate, bt in a dark environment it lights up the crossfader section a bit. Does any1 else put the blue FX light on just to make it look cooler, even tho we dont use effects?

  • Dude I got bought this mixer today and it works fine, xfader and everything, I don’t use effects I play mostly hip hop and there’s really no need like techno or house. You may have dropped it or made some bad connections LOL. Good luck figuring it out. I got mine up and running with Serato in about 30 mins. Having a blast goofing around with it, and just trying to get used to it.

  • I bought one of these, the effects were temperamental from the start and after a couple of months stopped working altogether. Wont be buying behringer again

  • if nothing doesn´t work, is because you do not know how to use this mixer, I have it and all it serves 100 %......The fx, crossfader, everything!!! ok, thats no amazing but its a very good mixer.

  • @LittleDeadlyBox If I can use the left side of the crossfader section you'd imagine I can use the right side as well wouldn't you? And considering the effects, I just think they're weak compared to Traktor

  • @Frace91 To operate the section of crosfader have to press buttons of sync lock, after that you will have available the LEDs on the crossfader, the fx´s functions are not entirely wrong, but they are a little confusing to use, on the problem of volume, you're right ..... I had not heard

  • @LittleDeadlyBox I think for its price, you won't get a better mixer...

I tends to be 50/50 with people though ?

  • @LittleDeadlyBox Yo do you think you'd be able to make a tutorial on how to properly set up this mixer because Im thinking of getting it and i want the most out this product much love - DJ Bodhisattva

  • can I use this with ableton live 8?

  • @bikerdudefiftynine Not as a controller

  • @Frace91 I mean like an allen & heath xone 4d?

  • @bikerdudefiftynine that's what I mean, this mixer does not have midi

  • @Frace91 ok thanks, I was looking for a mixer for ableton live so I wont get this, thanks!

  • I thought the same stuff when I first I got mine to. But after spending more than an hour with it I know realize that it's a good mixer for it's price.

  • @Frace91 i agree but thats no reason for ppl to bad mouth this mixer just for that purpose. For the price, we can only expect something close to perfection, which is where this mixer is

  • To all those who complain about this mixer... So wat if the bpm counter dont work? Kyhubiatch u've been 'djing for like 11yrs'.. Is it that difficult for u to match manually? In fact mixers with proper bpm counters are realy for beginners who rely on it. This mixers quality is 100% overall, dont be put off by people who just want attention

  • @AshlanReddy To me it doesn't matter if you need it or not. If they promise a feature it should work.

  • Ich hab viel schlechtes darüber gehört, aber ich verwende ihn schon seeeehr lange und muss sagen, der Mixer ist der HAMMER! ( nur wenn man ihn gut behandelt ;-))

  • I WON'T BE BUYIN THAT !....PHEWWW !!

  • what is the difference between line and phono??

    Please Reply

  • @jurgenenbart line is for cd player and phono is for a turntable

  • what do i need to connect the mixer djm-750 on a pc with traktor or something??? i got no decks :S

  • @Sonzil auido 10 dj

  • @zicha1 ty but i cant spend 300euros :O

  • @Sonzil i got it for 240 euros and in the usa its even cheaper

  • how do i choose which channel i hear on my headphones?

  • @nikosksil Press the cue button of the channel you want to hear.

  • @TheGioification thanx

  • @TheGioification thanx!

  • hey how do i choose which channel to hear on my headphones????

  • I've got this mixer and i'm trying to figure out if it's this that is causing my mixes to have poor sound quality as i've tried changing almost everything else in my setup but the quality never gets better. If anyone else has the same problem let me know othewise its probably down to my cheapo numark audio interface thingy or even my laptop (if that's possible?)

  • Does the mixer work with the pc

  • This is a great mixer nothing wrong with it,i will admit the effects suck balls but everything else is great for the price where can you go wrong?

  • what effects does it have?

  • Buy Vestax PMC-280 it's a killer machine for not much more than this crap.

  • Look Im a rookie but damn son. This mixer will go head to head with DJM considering price. Must tap beat assist 3 times to get tepmo difference and time offset. IMO beat counters ans assist are for losers and is a shame they even put them on. Made inaccurate on purpose. I mean why not right a program to beatmatch and mix for you. no one needs a pioneer 800 unless on the road. Plus everyone want to be your friend and borrow it. PS beatcounters are for losers....please take this off mixers

  • the mixer works good every thing on mine works :)

  • MAN. I JUST BOUGHT IT ON EBAY. FOR 200. I BEEN TRYING TO FIND A VIDEO LIKE YOURS. BUT ITS TO LATE. I GOT 7DAYS TO TRY IT OUT. BUT YOUR VIDEO IS SCARING ME. LOL

  • i have this mixer and have personally experienced none of the problems often quoted, effects can be difficult to get to grips with and can come across a tad quiet but other than that are fine. check out my channel for vid oF DJX750

  • i want a mixer in the same price range as this one...but this one doesnt seem that good any other mixers i could get 4 channel and for around the same price?

  • Thank you for your reaction! but I have a question: Can you control the effects? like a filter you can have it very low or very high, do you understand me?

  • Thanks, But i think that the high kills on your deck b is not with all the behringer djx750's I think there is something wrong with yours

  • @bartiiiooo I know, but it proves sloppy quality observation

  • Thanks dude. You've just saved me from buying a piece of junk. Il go for the Pioneer DJM700 instead.

It proves that you do get what you pay for.

    Cheers geezer.

  • Is this a good mixer for the club mixing? I plan to buy it and i want to know how good the quality is bcz it isnt so expensive .. nice rewie

  • @djgizzoni no its not. is's too weak your headphone section will weak since you will be using it for a month. It also looses its master power and you will have to pump your amp more. Depends of an amp...but if you pump it too much you gona turn all Bass knobs down(left) and its not a good way of mixing if you cant do anything with your bass knobs. FUCK WyldeBoy by the way

  • Hey i have a really important question i have ableton live 8 and i have been wanting to use my behringer djx-750 with it is it possible to use this with ableton live 8? nad if it is tell me what i have to do

  • @leadfarmer13 Hi,

Of course you can;t use it as a controller, but if you have an 8 chanel soundcard you could route 4 Channels to the mixer.

  • tbh man, most of the stuff you were saying sounded like you really didn't have a clue what you were talking about.. :S

  • @WyldeBoy who? me?

Dude I'm a dj for like 11 years and I dont have as many fingers as the number of mixers that i had in my life including this one, so dont give me that crap ok?

  • @kyhubiatch No you fucking douche, if i was directing it at you i would of replied to your comment. i was directing the video with a "respond to this video" comment. But tbh your review is shit anyway, as i have this mixer, and there really isn't anything wrong with it. I agree with you about the bpm counter, but ive never seen a bpm counter on a pair of cdjs or a mixer that actually works. they work with music like house that is 4 to the floor but anything else and they get confused.

  • @WyldeBoy First of all, your first comment sounds like directed to me but ok i got it wrong and sorry that I replied to you.

Second: don't call me douche you fuckin asswipe.

Third: hold your mixer a little longer (year or two maybe) and youll remind my words. Peace...out

  • CONTINUED:

Even if you want a cheap 4ch gear to play at home I wouldn't boy it. You should buy reloop rmx 40...the first one, the white one, it's not much more expensive and It's worth to buy.

  • "They do kinda work" well I say...they don't! This stuff sucks:

The only part of it that really works are the faders(only if the mixer is new)After a few months of using it,the knobs give more resistance and fell like they are scratching something inside them.BPM ctrs dont show the actual BPM AT ALL.Effector SUCKS AS HELL it's completely useless.SOUND QUALITY:you gotta have a really HQ amp for this cuz you will have to roll all LOW knobs down like I did when I tested it on many many amplifiers.

  • deutscher :P

  • lol i got this mixer and it works just fine for me :] . i read a few of the comments below about the Effects, And it doesnt do that for me. But even if it did, i never really use them since i have effects on Serato. I like the mixer so far :] and the KNobs near the Xfader are for the Bpm Counter.

  • good review again. i'll be sure to steer clear of this mixer! i like the little bloopers section at the end!

  • @martyn3200 thank you :)

  • got the same mixer. and agree with you. its realy crap. my crossfader works fine and all the killswitches two. and the effects thing works in you turn down the chanell volule al the way and put the effect level to the max. it overrides the chanel volume somehow. but its still crap even thou i found a way to get it to work. on my mixer one of the leds for the monito buttons is broken. suspect to be soldered on the wrong way.

  • ok thank you very much for your help

  • THANKS!!!! THE BLUE LIGHT (THE CUE BUTTONS) WHAT IS THIS??

  • @turbatos100 If you cue a channel you can hear it on the headphones even though the volume fader is down.

  • what that thing on your mixer is it a light????

  • @turbatos100 On the top? That's a brush to clean vinyls.

  • Headhunterz!

  • you are right man ...i have one of those mixers and for a begginer or for someone that doesn't have so much money it's very good....i have worked on almost all kinds of mixers but i don't have money to by a pioneer or something better

  • dude i got one now, myns fine all in working order, but behringer sux anyway im only getting this for my little brother

  • An informative video you've made Frace91! Thank you for making a review of the different features of BEHRINGER DJX750. Highly appreciated! We've subscribed to your channel to keep us posted. More power!

  • I've got a question...How those turntables really work?

I meen the vinyls ones (if that's how it's spelled)Do you have to buy those big black things?!Or u record on them somehow...I know the little ones work with CDs but i dont have a clue about these...:/ ty

  • @fansyveny You have to buy vinyl records in order to play music, yes :)

There's also timecode vinyls with which you can control dj programs like traktor scratch and serato.

  • @Frace91

Oh interesting....Well i haven't seen any places where i can buy those vinyls...What if u need a specific tarck for a mix?Where do u find the song to buy it?

    1more thing,i just got a Behringer djx700 from a friend of mine with a Behringer DSP8024 audio precessor and i'm having problems connecting those with my stereo.I got them to work somehow but the sound is too low and when i turn the amplif. off nothing happens.I hope you get my point.Thanks again!! All the best :}

  • does it not tell you what effect you are on then? do you just have to try and remember the number for each effect?

  • @MrShieldz Only Numbers, you have to remember it / use the manual as a reference

  • @Frace91 cheers dude :) i guess after a while you just get to know what each number is

  • all the thinks u said didn't work work good on mine....

  • @fetusman1 THe crossfader section doesn't work on mine. Period. I know it's only on mine but the fact that it didn't work out of the box speaks for itself, the rest is personal opinion.

  • Yes, this mixer is shit but i think its a good choice for starters that want a very very cheap 4 (5) channel mixer to start with but you cant compare this to the high end gear out there, i think you really get what you pay for with this mixer which costs 166 EUR compared to the pioneer 4 channels which cost 10 times as much.

  • you dont know what you are talking about, i've had this mixer for 2 months now, it has served me well, the effects work fine, when its on channel 3 the HIGH is not killed, either you've dropped this thing a few times, or you baught it off ebay and got ripped off. Guys! this is a great mixer sure the effects arnt the best, but there better than he describes it, once uv'e figured it out it sounds epic! this guy has made an assesment in one day! so its great for starters!! :D

  • @Cornwallace123

If i know what I'm talking about is subjective.

I'm just stating my experience and opinion here.

The right side of the Crossfader has the Highs killed, and i didn't get ripped of, i bought it off a serious Seller and i didn't drop it, it didn't work when it left the factorym, i cbf to let it get repaired since i don't even use the crossfader.

  • @Frace91

My opinion on the effects is mine, i think Traktors effects i.e. are far far FAR superior over the 750s, maybe I'm just spoilt by Traktor.

However, this is your opinion and i respect it and i recommend everyone to consider your opinion too.

  • im not sure this guy knows exactly what hes talking about...

  • @playmeoffjohhny i didn't prepare much prior to making this video so it's kinda all over the place

  • @DJPSoundprojekts

    danke :)

  • @DJPSoundprojekts ich bin nunmal ein freund von lineare(re)n faderkurven

gerade bei so kurzen fadern stellt sich das sanfte rausfaden eines tracks doch etwas schwer an

  • I'm using this with cdjmk3's (home only) and I like it .

The xpq surround makes sense too , only if you hooked the mixer to quality high end speakers . It does magic in large living rooms ( I got JBL's )

Faders are ok , effects are ok but not as bad as you reviewed it.

  • @Videogamearcade yeah maybe i have the wrong speakers and wrong sizd room

but comparing the effects to those of traktor and the filter of a xone mixer the djx really has no chance imo

  • @Frace91

    True...

  • @Frace91 Just comparing Allen & Heath to Behringer is a crime on it's own you know. Not to mention the insane difference in price.

  • @TheNecrocoil I know it's a bit unfair

a comparison to the djm 500 would be more accurate since the djx is trying to copy that mixer

in that contxt the behringer isn't so bad, but i think the djm 500 is a piece of garbage as well

looking back i'd happily pay double the price to have a xone 22 than this mixer

  • Good Review Man! I used to like Behringer but not so keen now since my VMX 1000 went faulty and no ones intersted in fixing it out of warranty!
