Did anyone notice how they added some dialogue? If you watch the cliffhanger...Alexis doesn't warn Krystle to look out behind her and when she falls...Alexis was certainly about to run off and leave Krystle to burn to death, but Krystle was the good one and didn't even want her mortal enemy to die.
alexis(who runs a multi-billion dollar company) running around shouting "there's no water, there's no water"...like how were they ever gonna put out such a huge fire with water from the faucet....lol...give me a fuckin break!!!
'Your kind of a house'. The mansion would be a more comfortable environment I suppose; the baby sleeping soundly in the nursery while Blake rapes Krystle and kills people. What a fucking asshole he is!
Kirby is the worst! I hate her puppy dog eyes, I hate her dirty-looking hair, I hate her mopey attitude. I have never heard anyone say anything good about this character. Why did they bring her back for the reunion? I think her hair had grown even longer by then.
@pnyc1969 I have, actually. In my opinion, Kirby is very beautiful. But I do agree that her hair at times looked dirty; she needed to have it up in a bun more often. I heard people say that she was a better character in S3, where she was more upbeat & loved to dance. I also heard she should've been a social-climbing viper that manipulated Adam against Alexis, now that would've been interesting! :D
@pnyc1969 Also, I think there were worse characters than Kirby; Lindsay Blaisdel was continually crying & freaking out, nor was she much to look at (although to be fair, she did have pretty hair & her actress grew up to be quite an attractive woman). Plus there's Jackie, Dominique's daughter, who had the most hideous syrup-y watering trembly ICKY voice, not to mention the most vapid expression and absolutely NO acting talent. Bleah.
@Kelaiah01 You show a pattern of many weepy characters. I'd add Leslie Carrington to that list too. Also the lady who donated her dead daughter's heart to Kristina (OK, she had a good reason to have the blues!). Replacement Fallon and Amanda also had no spring in their step. Claudia was the only good one of the group. Maybe Kirby's character should have matched Fallon's brattiness and gone head to head with her, sort a younger parallel to Krystle/Alexis. Kirby mostly played off the men.
@pnyc1969 I'm not familiar w/ Leslie, so I can't say much about her except they should've kept Oxenberg. I do however think that in S9 Samms finally proved she could be feisty/sarcastic/sexy. And yes, I agree that Kirby should've come into more conflict w/ Fallon & even Sammy Jo. Also, I think if S10 happened, she could've come back for a Kirby/Adam/Monica triangle (I can see the first half of the season Adam & Monica growing close & then Kirby returning upon hearing of Alexis being in a coma).
@pnyc1969 Yeah - she's a horse-haired whore! I am sorry, but that fire was ridiculous. Notice that when the episode started, the cabin was completely engulfed in flames. Yet inside, there are only a few areas burning and some smoke. Hell, there's more fire in the fireplace than the cabin at the beginning! NO way either wench would have walked out of a fire raging that badly. Still, Krystle's hair and makeup are unscathed by smoke and fire.
Its kinda funny, b/c in the opening scene Krystle and Alexis are actually nice to each other in way: "Krystle, we've got to get out here! Look out behind you!" "Get down where there's more air! No, we can't leave Alexis behind!" I suppose its kind've like with animals during a fire, they put aside their differences for survival. :)
The opening exterior shot at 1:33, featured the whole cabin engulfed in flames. However, the camera then cut to an interior shot of a semi burning cabin, with a brief cliffhanger recap, along with some new dubbed dialogue from Krystle and Alexis.
Mark seemed to come to the rescue directly after Krystle screamed "Oh my God", but there was on sign of anyone after she screamed the same line in the cliffhanger.

Has anyone else noticed that the hospital is the same as Wilshire Memorial, of Melrose Place fame? Where Michael and Kimberly worked? Didn't Aaron use more than one hospital? LOL
the hospital they used when Blake, Ben, & Alexis we're in Singapore looks familiar too. I can also tell you that there is no CHENEY HOSPITAL or DENVER MEMORIAL hospital in Denver. Denver Carrington bldg. is in Los Angeles, but the Colbyco bldg. is here. Its the QWEST phone company bldg. downtown. I guess i should mention that I live in Denver LOL
Thanks for posting, this and the "Bungalow" are excellent episodes! There isn't one storyline in season 4 which isn't exciting. More season 4 please!!!

Or maybe they were just dubbed in for this episode. They were not in the previous seasons cliffhanger. Joan must not have liked how it came off before the dubs.
