i tell you one thing though. i really do think what you did here is very cool. its not accurate at all, but its very cool. hmm, if you get the procedure down it could be worth something as a training video. have fun!
Actually I'm trying to take reference from real procedure to make a training video, but there are not too much reference, or they are just fragmented procedure. Hope other people can make a more accurated training videos.
hey bro, this is a cool video you made, but i promise you that all terrain crane isn't going to pick the tracks up with 2 parts of line and sections 3 and 4 of boom out. the outriggers on the carbody of that crawler tell me one thing. its BIG crawler crane. a medium sized crawler much smaller than the one you are building like a Manitowok 2250 has tracks that weigh 60k. your hydro could pick even that at maybe 60 if you are lucky. those tracks weigh a lot more.
Thank you, but the 1:87 hook can't move smoothly with eg. 4 parts of line. About the sections, I have no idea at that time. Actually, the track is too heavy for the hydro too. I just slide it on the table. Of course, small crawler crane is more suitable in real case to assemble a big crawler crane, but it's easier to manoeuvre a hydro model.
Thanks for you comment. First of all, I've never seen a full procedure, that's why I was trying to make a movie as a reference. At that time, I don't have any trucks to transport the parts, but I'll never make it again, as it is very demanding. So, if you can take movie of a full procedure of the real case some time, many people will benefit!
There is no crawler crane with Derrick mast in Hong Kong, but I can see the menu on the internet.
This must not be LR1750, as the part for staking counter weight is different. Actually, even the instruction of the model don't mention the real model number, it's a mystery!
you really are just douchebag running around you tube acting like a little bitch. Silly Canadain. Ibet you would talk shit to all these people face to face. People who run around starting shit like you are fucking cowards. I bet you got your ass kicked alot as a kid and mommy hugged you too much right? Ha. Gotcha again faggot! very nice. a crane working building a crane.
AlucardJR519 2 years ago
yeah there is a couple of wrong procedures
first
the parts should be trucked in and not just be waiting there
2nd
the screw downs need not be screwed down when the crawlers are attached

do you have any local crane companies yards where you live
go in and tell them to give you an instruction manual on how to actually assemble a crane the right way
another thing the crane can be an lr 1750 because lr series does not have super lift.
you screwed up big time

Hey when you rig the crane up like the derrick to boom is the cable pre-attached or do you have to rig it yourself?
