@federic017 Lo credo anche io. Senza niente togliere al grande Di Stefano, forse solo Corelli può essere paragonato a loro. A mio avviso i tre più grandi della storia: Caruso, Corelli e Del Monaco.

I think that Di Stefano is the best interpreter of italian romanza. He's clear, gently. I love also Del Monaco but I think that Musica Proibita Di Stefano's version is the best...
This is the way this song should be sung with the correct tempo in keeping with the music . not the way Domingo sings it rushing and not honoring the music
Hi, Have you heard Del Monaco's version? I love Di Stefano and Caruso in this piece, but for me, Del Monaco is almost unreal in his power and phrasing. He may take it faster than you like, but what a finish!! That said, Di Stefano has a wonderful warm tone and phrasing in this piece, really nice!
