People will panic for sure but even if they take all their deposit out, then these banks will collapse even faster, if so, U.S economy will fail big time...And it might lead to another depression. yes, i totally agree, i have seen many ppl r lining up at AIG to have their policy cancel and get back their money even they have suffered a lost. Now US gov tried to save AIG, but how many more can US gov save, if everyone will now want to withdrew their policy, can AIG comes up with such a huge chunk of money to repay in this situation? i doubt.
