If i listen back to this mix, i would have changed some things like the snare sound and so on.

But i´m happy

Did you havee to record an add. line signal on the acoustic guitar? How does the SM57, alone, sound with an acoustic guitar?

I recorded both. SM57 + Line Signal. Send them trough a waves-compressor.

Standalone i would prefer a condensermic. like a nt-1 or so.

The SM57 alone on a accoustic guitar is not the best choice in my opinion.

But Remember: The Guitarlele you see in this video was not micced seperatly. Matthew sang and played the guitar straight into the mic.

I guess it was one of the first lead patches in the presetmenu.

Tony, great job! this arrangement put's a really contemporary spin to the song. But I still prefer Matthew's "bare-bones" performance. What I'd like to hear with this song is a string quartette, with a cello. Sparse & gritty.
