For Chris B.: Manny got hit a lot because he wanted Margarito and Cotto to hit him. He intentionally stayed on the ropes because he wanted them to open up since they were starting to hold their punches once they felt Pacquiao's power.
If Manny wants to avoid the punches of Floyd, he could apply what he did against De La Hoya; Throw 3-4 combinations then go out and circle around. With Manny's superior footwork, he would be running circles around Mayweather.
