The "R" sound is probably the most problematic for all Cantonese speakers (most northern Chinese wouldn't). I myself don't have much of a problem with that for English since I'm a Hong Kong-Canadian. For example you a sentence containing, is and was spoken in true Native terms is pronounced with a z sound iz and waz respectfully. I think this has all been blown out of the water though. Too many little Chinese Shakespeare's running around thinking they know best, have you stopped and actually spoken to a qualified Native speak about any of this or is it all just assumptions based on opinion?
