So for me, as a Taoist, I can replace the word God with Tao and behold; they are both the generative force of the cosmos. As we align our will to the Tao or God, we are more capable of living in a way that brings us contentment. I'm incredibly moved by Rev. Rose. He is apparently an incredibly spiritual person. I wish mainstream Christianity and evangelicals could look to him for inspiration.
I'm going through this and it is painful. I'm feeling so depressed that I have feelings of not wanting to go on anymore. During this journey God did show me a vision of a brighter day. So despite the misery and hopelessness I feel, God still has purpose for me still being here.

@LH2OLH2O It's a year on for me now, and I would say that the process would be more aptly titled 'Dark Night of the Ego'. You will be fine. Keep going, remembering the Truth as you go. . that will keep you sane throughout the rough bits. You are much greater than your emotions, and your personality. Best wishes. A
