What kind of area does 200 trees require to grow ? Do the fucking math and then you call tell how damaging that is. Beavers change the local ecosystems just like human does to the earth. I agree that we should control human activities and populations. We will run the resources dry on this planet in no time. As of today, we already have millions of people starving due to poverty. Something must be done soon.

There would be plenty of extra trees for the beavers if PEOPLE would quit chopping them down to make way for new subdivisions, warehouses & apartments. Animals have been here way longer than people have, they should get some respect.

In my area, there's about 50 UNUSED warehouses & about 30 EMPTY subdivisions. Most of these are empty because the people who wanted to open them went bankrupt, AND their buildings are left empty (where dense forests used to be). Instead of people using the buildings already here, they decide they need to build new ones (and tear down more trees)...Also in my honest opinion, humans are OVERPOPULATING in order to receive government handouts. Bitch at me if you want, but this is what I believe.

Theirs a monument that says top population should be at 6.6billion or less.. Lmao.. we are waaaaay too over populated. I think a serious problem is that in my area, the local councils have restrictions on high rise developments. Because of this, the city keeps expanding West (urban sprawl), instead of keeping to high density residential areas. We actually don't have a high birth rate here (except for the Muslims), and the population is only growing fast because of immigration.
