MAELSTROM!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!! I remember playing Maelstrom for the first time, and I was so blown away by the graphics and smooth control. It's amazing how far games have come in such a short time. Look at a game like Starcraft 2 and imagine showing that to someone in the 80s. Their heads would fucking explode.

I have original boxed disks for all marathon games, bugdom, nanosaur, riven and myst.

They were great for their time and in some cases are still great fun to play (especially bugdom). It is just a pity that bungie were bought over by Microsoft..

Also if you can, checkout the escape velocity series, maelstrom, asterix, and bob the fish (all shareware mac games except asterix and some by ambrosia software)

If you want to try them out, search downloads on google, If you need registration codes

Macintosh started out dominating the game market, since it has superior graphics and sound capabilities. When they first started out with a Mac, PC's didn'e even have a mouse. The cheapness of PC's is what must have turned the tables. Although the Macintosh was first with high quality high output graphics/sound, the cheapness of PC's caused the developers to make games for PC's instead.
