  • I love it played in G. Paul was a top notch cat !

  • u don't have to believe me, but but this guy was my fourth cousin. i just found that out, about a month ago, from my grand mother.

  • too good for a video. haha

  • I looked and the last session Vic Jordan was on was March 17, 1971, so it is Haskel McCormick. But that lick at 0:31 sure was throwing me off. Never heard Haskel with that lick before. On that last studio session Vic was on, he and Haskel were both on it. I guess Vic left right after that.

  • According to my album of this, the date is April 3, 1971 at Christiansburg,Va. with Haskel McCormick on banjo though a couple of licks sound like Vic Jordan. I don't remember Haskel ever doing any chromatic licks, but that is what the liner notes say.

  • That's for sure. Give me Earl Scruggs and Paul Warren over all the rest of these copycats and wannabees today.

  • HELLYEAH!!!

  • The foggy Mountain boys never come up on google under images.

  • Did you search for Flatt and Scruggs?

  • Thanks for posting this! I love his style on this classic tune!
