I LOVE the Gaston. He his hilarious. He may not be super huge macho macho man, but his voice and comical acting makes up for it. When the silly girls were singing, i was watching them, then took a glance at Gaston and Lefou flexing and cracked up.

She looks so pissed off when she's singing about the book. Unclench the jaw. Unclench the entire body...like she can only move one thing at a time. It is possible to walk, move your arms, and turn your head at the same time.

I think that the girl playing Belle is a genius. Everyone is complaining that she acts roughly, but this is exactly how such a "different" girl should act. She has obviously interpreted Belle's character as being an 18th century case of undiagnosed Asperger's Syndrome. That perfectly explains why Belle is never a part of any crowd, always with her nose in a book, and has an ungainly manner of conversing.

However i completely blame her director for that she should have been told to do more with her body, and if no one ever told her how can she know she's doing something wrong... there are al lot of directorial errors in this

Belle is a delicate, sweet, innocent character. Her overall appearance, voice, and walk should be light and kind. I applaud you on a good voice but you should have shaped it to fit the character a bit more! Good job, though!

Not a good belle, Im sorry. Girl is powerful, but Belle is not an in-your-face powerful. Yes she is disney, but she isn't stupid, Belle has some bit of power behind her amidst the sweetness and innocence which is why I love the character, this actress is too brassy and throaty. Would you have Ethel Merman play belle? no. Needs a little more control over her head voice and soprano range.

I liked Belle best in this rendition. I think this actress really capatalizes on the fact that Belle wanted a new life with more "adventure" and more people who wanted something other than to live everyday the same way, and that she was fed up with her town. The "agressiveness" was perfect to me.
