I own this movie, and when anybody looking at my DVD collection comments that they won't watch it because it's a Hugh Grant movie, I tell them to shut their face and to watch it.

I know!!! I liked Twilight okay but I thought it could have been SO much better. I mean the plot of the book was PERFECT for a movie and I felt that they lost the flow of it by adding in their own scenes and cutting important "bonding" scenes out. It ended up choppy. Plus they left out Bella's perspective and so you never got to see why she fell in love with him. So on one side I'm glad they got a new director but not happy that he's a guy. I'm sure any director would "promise" to do a good job.
