I'm responding to this quote, however, I don't know the complete context. But as for conservatives THRIVE on socialism, unfortunately, the Republicans in the past administration and in the current legislative branch were/are NOT conservatives. If they were they never would have gone for last year's stimulus or ANY bailout. Although some are acting like conservatives now, it's too little, too late. Now we are moving towards a more socialist nation. It's really too bad.

Although I am a fan of Rush, and basically subscribe to his philosophies, he was wrong on that prediction. I knew it was going to be Obama, even if the media wasn't in the tank for him. Another thing. Catholic priests, they do the same, I bet you have heard hundreds of cases were they were touching boys, and committing other sins, so you can't just narrow it down to "Evangelical Christians"
Another thing. Not all evangelical Christians are white.

He came to this earth as a man, He died on the cross for our sins, and rose on the third day, so that if we confess our sins to Him and believe in Him we may have an eternal life in heaven.
So, anyways, people are people, they are hypocrites,they do horrid things. Yes, a lot of evangelicals can be hypocrites, I'll give you that, but what about the rest of the world, and all they have done? Dose that not matter?

I'm surprised by how many people here are saying that Rush is "just being honest." If you truly believe this, then, to me, you don't truly believe in the American Dream. We are a country of immigrants founded upon our belief that everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness-which includes for some who are boys and girls of white, black, latina, etc heritage-the desire to b/c president of the United States of America.

Limbaugh is completely correct. The difference is that Rush isn't worried about being PC. Of course any US citizen can be president, but the truth is that such a ticket consisting of a woman and an african american wouldn't have a chance. He's not saying they shouldn't, just that they wouldn't.

I heard that comment from rush that day, and the view took it out of content. after he said that they didnt have a prayer, he followed up with why. he said because of hills negatives and obama being an unknown with super liberal policies, they wouldnt win. Did they say 3 great candidates? It doesn't matter who the candidates are. As long as they belong to one of the two party dictatorship that runs our country it doesn't matter who is elected.
