  • thats soo good! keep it up

  • @alli1312 she works hard every day at the gym. :-)

  • wow she's doing great! all she needs to work on is pointing her toes and perfecting her form :) but other than that, keep up the good work!

  • @SweetRidzy1021 she has gotten better! Take a look at her videos from, this season.

  • she's amazing!! keep doing gymnastics!!

  • R u gonna post a vid from this summer too?! cant wait to see it!

  • @thegymgirls Yes, we will. She chipped a bone in her foot this summer and has been in a boot the past 5 weeks, so her training slowed down. However, we will get one in the next few weeks!

  • @ryanmalham Oh no! im sorry! i had a boot ..wow about 2 and a half years ago. i had it for a broken heel though..how did u chip the bone? :(

  • @ryanmalham hey did you happen to post her new skills vid? cant find it..

  • @jazzygupahlove3510 no, we did not end up making one since being in the boot this summer caused her not to train as hard. Also, her daddy was sent to Afghanistan, so he wasn't here to make one.

  • @ryanmalham omg im soooo sorrry! that stinks! tell shae i hope she is okay now! and i had a boot when i was her age tooo! mine was for a broken heel..what was hers for?

  • @jazzygupahlove3510 she chipped her 5th metatarsal when she fell at a pool party.

  • @ryanmalham ouch! and that stinks that it was at a party too! i broke my heel when i landed on it after doing a back tuck.

  • what gym is that im at americas finest gymnastics my name is Leah Chase

  • @gymdog567 This was filmed at Lumberton Gymnastics Academy.

  • She clearly has a lot of muscle in her legs and she puts it to good use. She just needs to work on keeping them straight and POINT YOUR TOES missy ;)

  • @sugafrost3 Yes, she really has to work in the tiny details. :-)

  • she has horrible form. an lol those girls at 1:10 were wearing training bras

  • @leeny11 This was summer and she was learning, not perfecting Her form gets better. :-)

  • @leeny11 they aren't training bra's they are sport crop tops

  • @leeny11 lol this is late to reply but ikr they like alk around in their little short shorts and bras thinking theyre so cool. haha

  • I can do a slpit but i canot do dat

  • that wassooooooo good for a 7 yr old!

just work on form a little, otherwise it looks great!

  • WOW! She is ah-masing! i compete at prep op.

advanced and i didn't get all the skills she has until 3-4yrs. ago! you must be so proud of her! U ROCK SHAE!!!!! p.s. remind her to point her toes in her back layout.

  • Yes, we are VERY proud of her. She has her first meet of this season Jan 10. Look for a new video soon after that!

  • She has the potential to be really good, especially being so young. Does your gym have the JO program for her? Or are they strictly doing the P.R.E.P. Opt program?

  • they just have the Prep program.

  • she reminds me alot of my self when i was her age. dont let her quit. i quit when i was 10 and completely regret it. and now trying to get back into it at 15 kinda hard. defffff sick with it

  • I don't think she will quit. She LOVES it. You keep working at it and you will get the skills back.

  • Wow, she has improved a lot!!! Great job Shae!!!

Is she the youngest at her level in your gym?

  • Yes, she has learned a great deal this year. She is the youngest on her team. She has her first meet Nov 14th!!

  • Is that the Stick it invatational?

  • no, she was not at that meet. You can become a fan of Shae's on Facebook. Look up Shae Malham

  • Whare did she get the leo at the start?

  • it was custom made for her.

  • Great flyaway! I want to have that in my bars routine next year as a bonus and also kip and long kip. Also great backwalkover and backhandspring (wish I could do that), I think I'm having backwalkover in my beam routine next year as a bonus as well. Good job!

  • all it takes is practice! You can do it if you are taught and work on it every day. Shae learned the back walkover back handspring on beam in 4 days at camp. However, she has not done it since and has therefore lost it.

  • yeah. its a bit hard at 13 now but i can do back walkover on the high beam now. tell shae that I think that she is really good and that she has potential to go far!! i started in the sport at the wrong age (11) but she has started at the right age and will go soo far if she keeps trying hard! =]

  • Shae is amazing!! She should go try out for a gymnastics tv show like Make it or Break it but for kids her age!!! Amazing!!

  • Very Nice! You sure can do a lot more than I could! Amazing!

  • OMG!!! you have come so far. i mean, layouts on floor, side ariels, flyaways, AND A STRADDLE BACK!!!!!!!!!!! your ariels are really good. i hate those though. they hurt my ankles. but they look cool. awesome shae! simply amazing! cant wait to see you next season!

  • 8?? Little Shae has come a long way in a year!! Great job, kiddo! Most little ones cheat by throwing their head back in those advanced skills creating bad habits that tend to last forever. I am so impressed that her head position stays neutral in all of her skills! Excellent coaching!!

  • Thank you! She is very lucky to have great coaches at her gym. They have taught her the basics very well.

  • my coaches r sooooooooooo much better.!

  • whoa! way to go shae. I'm in prep opt intermediate and im scared to do a flyaway by myself! nice aerials! also.... A STRADDLE BACK! thats super cool shae i can't wait to see you compete your new skills! Great job!!

  • YEAH SHAE!!!!!!!! NO HANDS ON THAT CARTWHEEL!!!!!!! Oh and the other new skills were SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miss Fawnis loves you!

  • ya its called an areial okkkkkkkk.?!

  • okkkkkkkk crazy frog. BTW children who have little talent shouldn't be so rude. I didn't see any good skills in your video. Okkkkkkkk?

  • Looking good!!!! What level will she compete?

  • She will either be in the Premier or Prep 1 level. Both of these are in the prep op program in NC, with Premier being a new level added for this upcoming season.

  • shes really good and cute leo

  • Thanks! It was custom made by one of the mothers at the gym in Lumberton. She does a great job of making them look really special.
