It would help if the SNES version allowed sharps and flats, but it was origianly used for writing songs in C major only i guess. (which of course has no sharps or flats) Very limmited. Nice use of the limitation though!

what makes me laugh is when people criticize because it doesnt sound exactly the same as it does in the game. If you know anything about the mario paint composer then you know that you cant reproduce all the notes since it has no way of producing sharps or flats, that being said The Blender does an abso-fucking-lutely brilliant job on all of his renditions. 100 Million stars for all of TBB's Vids.

Actually, TBB uses the REAL Mario Paint. MPC lets you use sharps and flats and you can have as many notes on a line as you want.

When I said the mario paint composer, I was talking about the REAL mario paint composer. If you notice, I say "the" mario paint composer, as in the composer found within the actual game 'Mario Paint'. I'm not impressed with the lame program that gives you access to sharps and flats and I apologize for not being completely clear in my other comment =)

No they weren't in "color" as such... they just had a bit of color. I thought that at first they'd actually come in full color. You know? Blue skies, blue water, green pipes etc.

Only few games were actualy compatible like super mario bros. delux or donkey kong country, those came in nice color. It was usualy games that came after the Gameboy Color was released. But it was handy to see some stuff that were in color but it was still ''yellowish'' that reminded me of the original.

I had it on the creamed spinach Game Boy. I actually hated Nintendo for making Tetris the pack-in game instead of Super Mario Land. A portable Mario game was cool, even with only 4 worlds instead of 8. =D
