  • great video

  • does anyone know how they chose their guitar tech?

  • Should I send you the link... ;-)

  • The rock idea was Alan's idea on SOFAD.

The Caressia... I agree with all the rest of your words... You are right!

Alan, if you see that... ;-)

  • dusty kid-lynchesque in the background haha

  • Love the Snow White shirt

  • why the fuck is Depeche Mode trying to act like a rock band...

    fuck this

    get Alan Wilder back...

and get Martin Gore back behind a rack of synths

and get rid of that fuckin drummer

  • @liverawkstar they turned into a rock band a long time ago you fucking moron!!!

  • @liverawkstar and do not forget to call back VINCE CLARKE the KING OF THE MAJOR MELODY :)

  • @liverawkstar well said

  • @liverawkstar what's your problem with martin? didn't you realize that if it were not for martin's songs DM would have not survived? what's a band without a good songwriter? martin writes, martin sings, martin plays. definitely an asset to the band. any problem with that?

  • @liverawkstar pathetic nostalgia guy. luckily 80' are gone forever, very little of that era is salvable. DM did evolve greatly. period!

  • @liverawkstar Rise and shine man! DM was always a rock band uses electronics instead of guitars. What's wrong with it?

  • Please, whats the model of the little Schecter yellow guitar?

  • @Artpreciator last time i checked , it wasnt a schecter , its an h42 harmony reissue. now discontinued again.

  • @odinmp5 Its so beautiful... thanks for the info!

  • very cool guitars loved it ;)

  • thank you for this very interesting video!

  • The lengendary Jez Webb, who has also worked with The Mission and Sisters of Mercy, and also does a great Robert Smith impression

  • His guitar tone was so much better in the 90's

Has he always been using Rivera amps?

  • i didnt know martin used rivera venus 5 amp...

nice guitars but no many fx

  • does any one know, what the yellow guitar is? jez didnt show it, the one that is just before the first act star shped one. it looks to me it might be a classic stratone clone.

any way...this is a very cool video.

  • i'd like to know too, because the yellow guitar used on Jezebel is REALLY cool, i love it ;-)

  • Interesting video, especially the part that shows the guitars. Is it just me or does it sound like you can hear Martin talking in the background? You can also see Jez looking to the right when he's answering questions about Martin's preference.

  • yes i think so, and also at the end when Jez is showing the star guitar, he looks again to his side when saying "i think only Marty could get (it)..."

  • yes, definitely Martin speaking! And I think Martin's characteristic laughter is audible at one point, but I cannot seem to spot it again :(

  • Extremely interesting video.

  • @DX5 This is certainly a seal of aproval!

  • we also have Marty's guitars review in one of the films in the deluxe boxset, but here it's smth again different, that's really cool ;-)

  • OMG! thank you for posting this! I watched the guy tuning Martin's guitars at Nancy gig (France), and here we can see the guitars really really close!!!
