Some Greeks are Thracians, just as are some Greeks Peloppennesian, and some are from the Dodecanese Islands. Are all Greeks Thracians, no, but it is an ethnic group in Greece. By in large, the part of Thrace Greece has was truthfully stolen from Bulgaria during the Balkan wars, if you look at it this way maybe Greeks are not Thracian... Depends on how you look at it.

you mean hellenised thracians. thracians were the first people. but not the greeks. how many thracian words do you use today in literary greek? we in bulgaria (+FYROMacedonia) use quite a few and even many more proto bulgar (pamirian, ancient iranian). slavs are northern thracians. it is quite possible bulgars are proto thracians expelled by the incoming greeks;HAD GREEKS SIDED WITH BULGARIA, GREECE WOULD VE HAD CONSTANTINOPLE AS CAPITAL AND NO FYROM PAIN IN THE ASS!!!
