just warning about htis product...... If u get yr hair done professionally DO NOT TY THIS!!!! I'm telling u this so u won't ruin yr hair. This is liek using Sun In crap! It will soon turn yr hair orange. I've had clients say they used it & now r having to get thier hair done at my Salon.
I tinted my hair brown a few times and now I have awful dark blond roots. I got the spray a week ago and tried it out on a strand but now I do it all over my hair. I can't wait to see results! :)
i'm a brunette and i have natural blonde highlights... but the back of my hair is darker than the front so i wanted to go like 2 shades lighter all in all. do you think it's the right product for that?
Actually for example in Poland it is pretty expensive.. I bought it because it was on sale, can't say much yet apart from that it smells really nice. In Poland in costs 20 $ (to compare - for 20 $ you may buy food for whole week for 1 - 1,5 person)
this is probably a stupid question....but it says it works with heat..I don't have time in the morning to shower so I do it at night. if you use heat the next morning will it work?
@raiNwAter8690 yes, and please don't ever use heat after applying, research about hydrogen peroxide, it gets unstable at high temperatures and that literally burns the main hairshaft...
Omggg I'm soooo confused!!! Somee people sayy it's awful and then get people like you guys who love it!! Anyone who has used this product plz respond :)
@AWorldWithoutDrama99 if you wanna try it its not that expensive. Do a strand test and thats how u'll tell if it"s right for your hair. One strand test may not show a big difference so you my have to do it a few times
@AWorldWithoutDrama99 Before I used it my hair had a discret and "boring" blond. I used it in summer before I went to spain. Previously, there was already a small difference, but after the holidays, my hair was really beautiful blond. Because of using it only before the holidays a few times and the reaction of the sun with my "sprayed" hair, my hair is really not at all broken. Now I only need to spray my hairline less than once a month and my hair is blond & healthy.
@AWorldWithoutDrama99 I love it too, I highly recommend it ! Took me about 3 applications as well to see a difference and I'm soo happy with this ! There's also shampoo and conditionner.
@AWorldWithoutDrama99 okay I did a test strand, but the product contained hydrogen peroxide which is a bleach, so I used it as a bleach (put it in, blow dry+ straighten my hair to get the full effect then washed it again) rather than a leave in spray, which in effect stopped the build up of bleach on my hair and turned it blond <3
SO this is the same product as Sun In, but maybe more expensive! The Blow Dryer damages my hair alot and I need something new and natural to use for lightening my hair...
@AWorldWithoutDrama99 Worked, used it for a year now, I'm using the Red label (which is in UK stores, don't know about other countries), which is for medium to dark brown hair, worked fine with a hairdryer but had some orange shadings, and then I went to Ibiza, Spain, used it with the sun and it worked much better, no orange at all!!But I'm back in Scotland now and it started giving me orange shadings as well..
i used this product along with the go blonder shampoo/conditioner. then today i had to get half of my hair cut off because it started to snap. DON'T USE IT!!!
i have this spray and i like it. it works for me well, because i have naturally blonde hair so it really lightens my hair. but watch out! if you're already have dry hair it can really dry out it even more. i actually never leave it in my hair. i spray it, blow dry my hair, then maybe put some coconut oil, and after a while i rinse it out. it's less damaging :)
I've asked my sister to get me some of this from the states. I have curly really light brown/with natural blonde highlights. Do you think this will work? And if I use my garnier hair mask conditioner after?
@CarrieIsDaBomb i cant say for sure but if your hair is really light brown it may still have some red undertones and may go a bit red. Maybe a strand test a couple time will help. Thanks for commenting :)
I'd be carefulu with this product. It really really drys out your hair. I ended up with a bad patch of psoriasis on my scalp because of this product. (like bad excema, weepy, and sore and scabby) ! Not pleasant. It DOES HAVE PEROXIDE IN IT.IY SAYS ON THE INGREDIENTS. I will never buy this again & i've complained to John Frieda company.
There isn't enough peroxide in this product to lift hair that is red, light brown or any shade darker to blonde. This product will only lift these colors to an orangey, brassy shade. You must bleache hair, wash it out and then dye it an ashe blond to eliminate brassy tones. The hair on the blonde girl above is obviously a mess as its about four different brassy shades. Against better judgement I used this product on my roots to save me bleaching and it turned my brown roots bright orange.
Ok so is this good the.n ? I've seen other videos & ppl r saying not to get it . Also the shampoo & conditioner that makes ur hair blonder from John freida it's the same as that spray , some girl got an allergic reaction to it :o that looked nasty & scary . I have it , but so far it's good ! Idk ugh !! :/
the product is not bad.....i have used it and i am amedium brown.....the key to it is to go slowly and not to overdoit.....there is aslight point where brassiness may turn up...thats when you should stop........DONT OVERDOIT....
@Poppy2612 hi :) it is 20 Medium Brown/Hazelnut by clairol's natural instincts. It fades to a nasty red though and i wouldn't recommend box dye. If you live near a college that does hair dressing you could make an appointment with them because it is much much cheaper than going to a salon.
Okk!!! so I have a question, (obviously im a girl bur in my brothers account haha!) have you guys tried sun in??? please answer me 'cuz I'm thinking in buying it but idk which one is better so please give ur best advice! :D
thanx for this review , i thought this good...NOT!
and if i reed the other reviews here... i wont put this shit at my hair!

thank you so much I will try this product because I am so sick of these overpriced hair salons. whetever you go they want to charge you hundreds of dollars for a simple hairlight.
THIS RUINS YOUR HAIR. My hair is damaged and dry and your just putting peroxide on your hair. I loved it at the start then i started seeing it slowy damaging my hair i thought it would be fine then i woke seeing my hair fuzzy and bits of my fringe missing and weakness in my hair

You'd be better off buying a box of blonde dye. It has more bleaching power than that crap you used.
And your hair color is a mess. It's not hombre, it's too many muddy colors and orange-ish in places.
That bottle of shit will not turn darker roots anything close to blonde.
