First of all - thank you very much for sharing. TP plays a magic intro. In the first few seconds you don´t know what´s coming up, but then he resolves the story. I like the very sharp way he plays the solo, not too difficult, but with a lot of pressure and expression. And how he finishes up the song, is outstanding. Looks like if he had the idea just this moment with the A minor/ G major/D major/ A minor again and the feedback at the end. But I don`t believe, because he´s a perfectionist.
This tune in in A minor. It is played using a G major diatonic harmonica played in 3rd position. You could use a C major diatonic harmonica in 4th position. You can also cheat using an A minor tuned harp ( such as a Lee Oskar) in second position. C harmonica in third postion is D minor.
@gordonsmith56 - I hear this as Am but with the major third on the Dmaj - same notes as Gmaj yes? (therefore the G harp.) Not genius here.You could as well say the song is IN Gmaj or Eminor, those scales fit.
The Dmaj throws a sharp sixth into the works. I like that sound a lot - it is a JAMMY kind of riff to solo against.

C harp in the 3rd position fits to a number in A minoras the scales of Am and C are similar to some extent. Great number.
