my husband almost stepped on a baby bat last night because it was lying on a sidewalk and so small. last night i fed it warmed sugar water mixed with a little mashed chicken, baby bird formula powder, and banana. it was so hungry but had to be careful not to get food in the tiny noseholes. It's going behind a shutter today, back with the others. What is really cool....how fast it grows! last night it had incisor teeth and 4 others, this morning it has over 20 small sharp teeth. whew.

It's not a baby. It's an adult. It's just a small species of bat. We sometimes keep baby bats in kritter keepers which are like tupperware containers. Sounds like that guy just flew into a wall or something. Glad he was able to fly away.
