Perhaps the most amusing aspect of this advertisment, is the way it seems to parody a show for small children. They obviously have a target audience in mind, ie imbeciles.
This commerical is retarded. This is for republicunts that hates to pay for the poor and disabled. This country is going to hell on 2 levels. 1. Is the rich and 2. is the races.
I'm in England and you don't want what we have. We have to change doctor every time we move house, and we wait for 1 week just to book an appointment for a minor ailment such as a cold. If you need to go to a hospital then that takes several months!
We get taxed to pay for the NHS whether we like it or not.
What the fuck!I was denied health exams from my own private healthcare insurance. What in the fuck are there talking about. This is all bullshit! These assholes know if this ever passes they would have to compete. The insurance companies would have to open it's doors to preexisting conditions and all the other crap that is denied. But the ad is funny as hell. The guy looks like a geeky pervert. She could have been getting her Virgina exam.
Replace the "government bureaucrat" in this commercial with "private insurance rep" and it's the same thing. Insurance companies get in the way of doctor and patient decisions all the time.
Conservative rhetoric on health care has a nasty habit of seeing the present through a filter that shows something somewhere between a wild fantasy and an insane delusion and then putting on their dystopian nightmare glasses to think about national health care.
Even by the usual standards of stupidity, this ad is remarkable. I can only weep that the average American probably buys nonsense like this.
If you really believe that you will end up with the same rights as the blessed Obama (peace be on his name) and the rest of the pols you are deluded. That said the matter is settled as most of America has become dependent rather than independent and just wants to be told what to do.
Maybe the worst ad I've ever seen? President Obama has a plan for health care reform that let's you keep the plan you have now. Or, if you can't afford health care, it provides an affordable public health insurance option. It's all about more choice, lower costs, and higher quality.
What does "reform" have to do with nationalization? The Dems are just picking any problem and using every single thing as a justification for them to control everything.
How about allowing competition between state lines. Or giving the tax credits to people rather than corporations? Americans have the best treatment in the world and now that they are on the verge of losing it, they know that the grass isn't greener after all.
Yep. Its Harry and Louise all over again. Actually, Europeans like their government run healthcare and trust the government. NPR did a series called Health care for all listening to Americans and others in France Germany UK Netherlands . Listen to what real people experience and understand and don't be scared by this nonsense.
It's a "public OPTION"... if you think insurance company bureaucrats are going to look out for what's best for your health, then you can CHOOSE to let them insure you... On the other hand if you trust the Gov't run plan to provide better care at a lower cost, then you can CHOOSE the public option... This is fear mongering and misinformation...
The actors do a fun and convincing job!

Lookup Richard Scott and HCA, or Columbia/HCA Healthcare.
This guy is behind this "organization"; he and his company have some nasty background.
Sad but interesting.

"Today, you make the medical decisions that are best for you"
Oh, that is complete BS. It's the god damn insurance companies that decide what medical treatments you get or whether you get them at all.

I want health care reform. I'm one of many that are uninsured and have difficulty going to doctors by being "limited" cash wise.
