I don't understand. Why always when I watch Protoss pros, they just don't upgrade shields ? I mean, aren't like 3 shield 3 armor = 6 armor or something ;O ?

@555misio Actually they are separate so sheilds dont take ANY attack bonuses but they dont stack with armor when they are up so no that would not be the case

@mattrocde shields take the attack bonuses just like hp does (stalker shields take 20 damage from a marauder for example), sc2 shields are different to sc1 shields. Otherwise you're right :P

@555misio when fighting a terran, EMP ruins the shield upgrades.

I personally think shields are underused, but the HP of zealots gain far more from armor than shields.

@rivershade24 The point is, against that composition, terran t3 units are useless, BC's are just terrible outright, and thors aren't gonna do shit to chargelets, i have no support for either side, i'm zerg, but terran t3 units are terribad compared to protoss, thats why they only use t1 and t2 units.
