  • great job..

  • Most Chinese passenger trains are now run at 200 to 250 kmph and high speed run at 300 to 350 kmph. You guys got a train run at 100 kmph here. Is that sth worth cheering?

  • @keyclone888 wow! your hypothesis is based on " more money, more happiness". But that's not always the case. It is the uniqueness that gives you the joy.

  • @lalmohan I really enjoy Indian people's attitude of their lives: always dream in your own world. That's like a masterbation!

  • @keyclone888 you wouldn't understand the magic of India Rail if you haven't been on one..and it's not just the numbers giving speeds

  • my fav

  • @PSPHacker48: Thanks a lot!

  • Wow nice:)

  • @andy4117: Thanks a lot!

  • Very nice!

  • @qsqt123: Thank you!

  • You are one hell of a mad man. Standing in the open door, with only one support (other hand is obviously holding the cam) you have quite a good chance of falling off the train and being cut into tens of pieces. India is full of such madmen who do not value life. May your soul rest in peace if you fall

  • good viddeooo ...lot hard wrok done too capturee thesee videoo s

  • @MrSyatem: Bohat shukriya!

  • Good video ....but indian railways is lacking far behind the chinese railways..........must privatize to some extent.....must not look for cheap passenger fares all the time.....politicians have become bound ...dharmsankat.....mamata cannot raise fare because elections are ahead....and also because her predecesor Lalu did not raise fare for a long time....she do not want to face the brunt of public rash..

  • @drpk26: Yes, all those problems are there but nonetheless, even with all its deficiencies, the Indian Railways continues to thrill the railfan!

    Thanks a lot for viewing!

  • @ritadhishankar There are only a few places in the USA where passenger trains move with these speeds. You're right about the thrills! In the US we can't stand in vestibules, or hang out open doors or windows, either! No fun. Can't even walk along the tracks legally. Thanks for your postings!

  • @ritadhishankar nice train India props.

  • Good Video, Kudos to Indian Railways and you

  • @songofthelord: Thanks a lot! And yes, glory to the Indian Railways!

  • Which train have you traveled by ? !! its quite interesting that the train from which you captured these fascinating vdos almost runs along the same route in which raj and shatabdis run, if I'm not mistaken, is it Poorva, or some train from eastern india, am I right?

  • holy crap indian passenger trains are long!!! in canada that would be like 4 vias!!!

  • @celica825: Yes...in the US, a 12-14 coach train is pulled by 2 engines! In India, that's a luxury unheard of!

  • Awesome compilation ...

  • @MrSarbamit: Dhonnobad...kemon achho?

  • khub bhalo moshai. keep it up!

  • @Akashpagol: Thanks a lot!

  • Awesome video

  • @arun24311a: Thank you!

  • @bhushan80 India is on its way for a giant leap, The cabinet committee on economic affairs (highest decission making body of India in terms of approval) has cleared a proposal to electrify the entire railway network, starting from Kashmir to kanyakumari, Gujarat to the North East, work is going on, new power projects are coming up, some with joint venture between Railways and NTPC. Railways contribue to 40% of crude consumption in India. It will go a long way in making India self sufficient,,,,.

  • gr8 one .keep it up.r u a frequent rail 0traveller ???do u knw dat locos dont even hv toilets in dem ?????

  • @amitks93: Thanks a lot for your appreciation. I am a frequent traveler once I am in India but otherwise, I do very little traveling. And yes, the Loco pilots have to undertake a lot of hardships at duty. No toilets and no air-conditioning, even in the blazing Indian summer!

  • Hey, Cool, Video Keep It Up !!

  • @arjunrudra: Thanks a lot!

  • Thank you for the great compilation

  • Good.

  • Someday, I would like to see these trains travel at that 'relative speed' when you captured them from the other trains.

    Nice work!

  • @rajnikantsharma: Thanks a lot Sir. There are some videos of that relative speed in my collection. Hope you like them!

  • @ritadhishankar

I will watch them and if you are with IRFCNA then you will know me as Naeem

    Thanks

  • durdanto!!

  • What a shame. Even Indian trains are electrified and all faster than ANY train in the US, including Acela.

  • @TrickyEmu First of all, I am an Indian and I presume, u must be a US citizen. I have lived in US for 5 years. I do not however agree with you on the fact that US should be ashamed of anything. Acela, Amtrack trains reach 70-80 miles an hour equivalent to 140-150 kmph. Only a handful of trains in India run at that speed. Most of them run at speeds of 70-80 kmph. But that is not due to lack of capability, but due to immense traffic and lack of infrastructure in some cases. No nation is wrong...

  • @TrickyEmu Continuing from the prev post, in India railways are major modes of transport, after roads. In US, people use airways frequently. Interstates in US are fabulous and India has been doing the job of catching up in roads sector since 200x. Regardless, I love Indian trains and due to gas prices being hiked every now and then, US is considering electrifying certain routes, however does not seem in any rush. I can agree with you on that. Recently, India got GM manufactured diesel locos.

  • @TrickyEmu To add to that, in US, implementation is on faster side than in India. In short what I am hinting is, there are short comings every where, so do not be ashamed and enjoy the videos...Just remember, every nation has its own ways and you will be disappointed if you compare US to any other country. Every country in the world today, looks up to US for its amazing infrastructure in place and I am not shy to admit it. On that note, I am not undermining any country, but this is the fact.

  • Good Job!!

  • gr8 work bro

  • awesome

  • Simply phataphati!!

  • SUPERB!!!

  • awesome capture! how do u find out when the trains will cross?

  • Well, some of it looking at the timetable and figuring out when are trains scheduled to cross the one you are on (at least estimate between which stations. Next task is to keep a close watch on the signal on the adjacent line. The rest is up to lady luck! I spent 4 hours waiting for one of the videos here: the train was terribly late (Ranchi Rajdhani) and I managed to capture it only because something told me to keep videoing and delete later if needed!

Glad that you liked the compilation.

  • @ritadhishankar Awesome work dude

  • Awesome video. * * * * *

  • Good compilation... high speed stuff are always nice to see ;)
