A Meeting With My Higher Self? Part 1

man I had a similar experience recently! I felt as if my body was rigid but I was shacking! Mainly my legs but it was like a vibration/moment. sort of like an earthquake. I think it could have been the start of some sort of OBE. As soon as it stopped (like the flick of a switch), I woke up startled. got up out of bed, because I was quite scared. I almost got the impression it was like something out of a film where a persons body gets possessed.

my experience with this topic was from an NDE. in my opinion it was a place i never wanted to leave since i was every infinite possibility of every thought process my soul possessed-my blended heaven and hell. This even went into the ability to compare parallel dimensional existences of my friends switching parents brothers life progressions etc. becoming enlightened to me is becoming the understanding of reality completely beyond the physical world. I have the summer off, yet half of my dreams are of me at my school. Only once have I realized that it's summer, and I don't go to school anymore.

I have been having reoccuring dreams ever since I was a child involving an out of control car. I am always driving it and when I hit the break I keep going, but I always reach a level of lucidity before I crash which causes me to have some sense of control. I am absolutely frightened throughout the whole dream, but I never crash into anything.

A dream diary is a golden tool to develop grate memeory!!!, the key is to start small and work up. example recording a small detail like example 'red' you can go yea apple i dreamed of and so on. these small details and recording of any amount onlocks over time memory to a level that will sudenly surprise you one day, it will just hit you when you start to remember 1,2,3 and more dreams a night! just record what you can thats all to it. DO NOT TRY TO FORCE IT whats stored in memory will come?^_^

last night i had my first lucid experience. I relized i was dream because everone was treating me like i was a very young boy it was really odd. and when i realized i was dreaming i got very excited and i was screaming it. than i wok up and was in this bed out in a flower garden and it was very realistic. I started walking out on this stone path and said to myself dreams could never be this vivid, as i say many flowers in great detail. Than I woke up for real. strange.

this just a theory but, time is a law of physics (the physical world)., but there is nothing physical about dreams. dreams are pure thought.

Most people have dosed off and had dreams that seem to have lasted for hours only to wake to find that only a few minutes has passed...

so it's possible that time has no place in the dream world, and that any perception of time in a dream is merely a creation of the person having the dream...

Well in a sense it kind of is because a chemical known as DMT is activated during the dream time. DMT is a psychedelic drug that is stored in the pineal gland and is active when we dream. So it's like being on a very vivid psychedelic trip.

that probably means you lost blood circulation to your legs during your sleep. you should probably try to sleep in a more 'free' position to allow for easy blood flow to all parts of the body.

One thing I would love to do is like meet (once again words cant describe something as ''a higher being'' within a few words) someone/thing to give me words to describe such an experience. Thats just one thing I would like to do.

Yeah, I'd say that lucid dreaming can potentially be just as intense as a drug experience. And anyway, you can do drugs in a lucid dream, so why not combine the two? Whenever I get a craving to go back to my old ways, I just hop into a lucid dream and have a drug binge instead of doing it for real. Feels just the same.

When I first started becoming fairly advanced in lucid dreaming, I was sleeping a lot more than usual due to the fact I was enjoying the experiences so much, so yeah, I think it's possible to get addicted to it. But with everything in life, it's about finding that middle ground, and I believe I have now.

I had my first lucid dream when I was very young, before I even knew what lucid dreaming was, so I spose you could say that, yes, I originally discovered it by accident.
