@mitwinx that was a quick proof of concept shot with a Creative Labs Vado (SD). If it had been for production, I would have used our Canon GL2 or Canon HV40 (really good).
I am using Anime Studio Debut 6 for Windows. When I try to import an image from File/Import/Image, the Image choice is white (not available). How do you import an image? Thanks in advance
Looks like you did it right, that should bring up a Folder window and from there you should be able to navigate to where your media is located. I tested mine and it works just fine.
how did you add a movie image to a animated back ground seems impossible...Geez im stumped this program is not very user friendly...PLEASE HELP!

@bannanakiwi Chromakey, made the green background transparent and had the drawing as a layer under it.

Mine interacts with live people. But just try getting them to do something useful, like washing dishes! Impossible.!!

My main question is how do you import a movie file?

It is fairly straight forward:
File>Import>Movie
That will drop the movie as your bottom layer on a new project.

Thanks for the quick response! I discovered that if I use an Image Layer, I get to chose the image.
